I mostly sing. My voice has taken some horrible beatings in past years but everyone still says I sing beautifully, and its funny to stand in my home church and watch people on surrounding pews lean in to hear me better or motion for me to sing louder cuz they love my voice. And I've caught some attention with singing songs from the phantom of the opera or from titanic and doing a pretty good job. Back when Titanic first came out I got caught singing "My Heart Will Go On" in my computer class room and the other students had me go around the room and sing the song while they recorded it on all the computers, then played it back over and over the entire rest of the day.
I have in the past played the trumpet, a tad on the recorder and a tad on the piano. I own a guitar and occasionally strum on it to relax myself but I don't really know how to play anything on it. I also owe a wood flute and mess around on that, and I own a recorder but don't play with it very often. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!

Go girl!!! I like a good singer. I can actually imagine you standing there singing to everyone in your class while they record it. So what range are you? Alto, soprano, mezzo soprano?
I used to be able to sing a bit as well. Then my voice broke and I've never been able to pitch a note since. Well, my voice is almost completely broken now, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to regain my voice soon. That is unless things take a funny turn and throw me from what seems to be my voice settling in the baritone range and thrusts it into the bass. I just wanna get my voice back! _________________ You turn 18 and you realize nothing changes... Except you get junk mail for credit cards. |

Oh, cool. I like alto. Soprano often just sounds like a screech, alto sounds warm and comfortable. I'd like to hear you sing. If we ever meet in real life, you'll have to sing for me. My voice does seem to be coming back slowly. But strangely enough, mostly in falsetto. I tried singing along to Muse, (lots of falsetto) and I actually started to get my voice in tune. I envy the lady singers. Lol. They never have to worry about their voice breaking like us men do. _________________ You turn 18 and you realize nothing changes... Harmonica, Steelguitar. Some of my fondest memories of my Grandfather are of when he taught me to play both insterments. God rest his soul, still think of him when I play. _________________ Beware the light at the end of the tunnel, just might be the headlights of my speeding truck. =0.0.=

I played b-flat clarinet in high school (section leader-- yeah baby!) and a little in college... Of course, I also fooled around with tenor sax, bass clarinet, and contra alto clarinet (It's frickin' huge!) I miss those days... Too bad my college doesn't have a band, I'd love to start it up again. _________________ =^_^=Exo=^_^= |

As a child I took piano lessons, then accordion. I then learned baritone uke and into my teens learned guitar. Now I'm learning mandolin and play a little recorder and jews harp. I also sing a little bass. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

I've got a steel string guitar, been playing for about a year and a half. I'm also really getting into classical style with my dad's classical acoustic. |

old topic - please forgive me
I currently can play:
Piano/keyboard/organ (yes, they're 3 entirely different instruments)
Bass guitar (self-taught)
trumpet (not my best instrument, but I'm ok.)
drums... kinda. _________________ my avatar looks depressed, doesn't it? |
