I think Bush was a good president that did his best in hard times. I doubt Gore would have gotten us through 9-11 like Bush did, and I support the war in Iraq. My only gripe I have with him was No Child Left Behind, which was likely the most idiotic thing to come out of Washington in the last eight years.
If the American media were not so biased, people would probably have a higher opinion of him.
Yes, I'm Conservative, and proud of it. *runs away before he can get beat up* _________________ My FA |

He had some real scumbags around him, which is what makes him a bad prez. We're voting for a team, not an individual, and we never meet the other team members until it's too late.
Kasyl wrote: | I think Bush was a good president that did his best in hard times. There's a lot of crude oil in some of the "Stans" north of Afghanistan, except no way to easily get it to an American market. The Taliban didn't want to deal with American oil business to build a pipeline, so the Taliban had to go.
On the other hand Osama really was in Afghanistan, and no where near Iraq. Yea, Saddam Hussein was a big fat poodie head, but what does that have to do with 9-11? And evidence now strongly suggests Saddam was faking the WMDs to scare Iran. "Oh, better not invade us (again). We're building WMDs!" I guess he didn't think we'd believe it too.
So instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan, he gets us involved in a second war. One that's pretty much designed to piss off a large part of the Muslim word.
Yea, G.W.B. had some truly crappy advisers.
Then to add insult to injury, those dirty rat bastards gut our constitution, frack over the economy, and set back research in alternate energy 8 years.
McCain part of the same stuff as G.W.B. and he claims he is for change? Sounds good, don't it.
The people that will "hurt" Barack Obama are not in government and not in any position of power in the Dummycratic party.

I wish there was something left to be proud of, left to support.
Once this country was beautiful, full of hard working people with family values and whom prioritized community and well being. People enjoyed nature and the small pleasures of life. A simple summer breeze made a farmers job far less dismal (I know this from experience).
There were troubles and wars, sure, but I think it was about the time the 1960's rolled around that this country started it's slow decent into an urban decay, rap music, fat lazy tornado bait welfare scum, angry irrational black people, illegal immigrants, I'll sue you for looking at me, paranoia, separation of church and state being total BS, everything dumbed down, nobody has a spine, anti-work ethic, I'm better than you complex, anti-community, limited freedom of speech, non-equality, bombing desert countries for oil, can't make a decent living, backwards priorities, evil politics, pride with no sense attached screwy mess of a chunk of land we dare label a country. And that's not even the half of it.
Not many people care anymore, they just want their money, video games, shiny jewelry and whatever else. They don't want to earn a life, they want it handed to them.
When Americans in mass pull their heads back out of their bottoms, I will then begin to care for this country again. Until then, the land is beautiful, and there are some good people, but it's all doomed anyway.
It's sad, but you realize that all the good of this country is based off of frivolous affairs. We, as a nation, have become spoiled children, to eager to take and not give.
I want this country to learn, and sometimes you have to learn the hard way. This time it will be by having our frivolous comforts stripped from us in mass. When stick boy millionaire loses his money and has to work for his food, his priorities re-adjust quickly. Those who can't learn, will die.
Unfortunately, the good people will fall with the rest. This really bites. But it'll just be history repeating itself, because for every one good person, there is 1000 idiots not willing to learn from mistakes. _________________ AKA Skoon

the problem with a second civil war is the fact that there will be no borders it will be fought along sectarian lines and the country will burn. _________________ Bad moods are like hangovers, they eventually go away. - A. Sigurd Olson |

They've made speaking english in my own city more difficult than it should be, seeing as how I live in an english country.
They gain the basic benefits of this nation without having to pay taxes.
They make America look weak.
They've increased crime in many southwestern cities.

Hey, I think that might be just as good if not better than monkey pants.
ETHEL! Don't Look!!
Realistically if it becomes a flame war then the point of this country is screwed beyond hope is only strengthened. Everyone has gotten so full of themselves that it's not possible for anyone else to have an opinion, everyone who doesn't agree with me is just an idiot. Hmm, or maybe, just maybe they lived a different life and up bringing than you making their opinion completely valid for their life. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!
