I know this is gonna sound really dense but what exactly is Second Life? I've seen people talk about it here so I'm naturally curious. _________________ Beware the light at the end of the tunnel, just might be the headlights of my speeding truck. =0.0.=

Well... some say its a game... some say its a 3D building/rendering tool.
I consider it... like... well i don't know.
But, it can also be used as a really neat, chat program.
Imagine a full 3D world, that has its own economy, 3D building tools, scripting language, and everything.
You control how your avatar looks, and how to interact with everything around this world.
It's a really nifty idea.
What i like is that it supports streaming audio (a la KWKAT), you can stream videos (flash, quicktime, et al) and soon, you will be able to browse www pages on screens in this world.
Come up with a good product to sell here, and earn some real life dough, there are services that actually buy/sell L$ for US$.
It's a very interesting concept.
I use it for the social interaction and keeping up with friends. And build some stuff of my own, but mainly just chatting and hanging out.
Try it out!

Actually I used my debit card because it had visa logo on it. And from what I heard Paypal turned them down flat because of the mature content found on SL in some areas. Again thats just a rumor I heard. _________________ Asalis: (uh*sah*lis)

They might want to consider Greenzap (I think greenzap.com) its a new one that opened the beggining of the summer. I have an account there but have yet to use it so I can't say for certain how good or bad it is but they are really trying to be even better than Paypal and tend to accept things that paypal wont. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!
