Wendy April Vixxen Wylde (fox, age 42, b.02 April 1974)
Wendy is a beautiful, vivacious, and extroverted lady who has a history of poor decision-making and bad luck with relationships. Her marriage failed when her husband, Arthur Wylde, went insane and tried to kill her. She has a career with a large telecommunications firm in Pennsylvania, but is definitely not happy with it. She comes to Vermont for a fresh start, a chance to do something she considers worthwhile: perhaps her last chance at happiness.

Arthur Wylde (timber wolf, age 44, b.1972)
This unfortunate creature has been living on the edge of the wild for the last five years, and the remaining shreds of his tenuous grip on reality have dissolved. A demon-worshipper, he is completely psychotic. He has fixated on Wendy as the cause of his problems.
Harper Fenter (skunk, age 40, b.1976)
Uncle Julian’s lawyer. He befriends Wendy after her move to Vermont. He is battling an advanced case of lupus. The drugs help some days more than they do others.
Karl Luscus (Scandinavian wolverine)
Due to certain circumstances resulting from his former line of work, Karl's apparent physical age is between 25 and 30. He owns and operates the Fixit Shop in New Haven Junction, some nine kilometers from Ash Creek Inn.
Leonard Capra (mixed-breed, mostly Great Pyranees, age 38)
Capra (as he prefers to be called) is a field operative for the ISB under Hemanth Rajid. He is a native of the Bronx. He is very good at surveillance and intervention techniques.
Jenna Mephitine (skunk, age 35)
Friend of Wendy’s from Pennsylvania. They had an intense relationship for about a year after Wendy left Arthur. They are just good friends now. Jenna visits Wendy for her first Christmas at Ash Creek Inn.
Quinn Coonworth (raccoon, age 94)
Runs the general store in New Haven. A wealth of information about the locals’ goings-on, assuming he trusts you.
Lee Evans (Maine Coon
Cat, age 42)
Project Director for a major aerospace company. He is in charge of a number
of highly classified programs for the military. His romance and early relationship
with Debbye Squirrel are detailed in From The Wings by Evan Mayerle.
He is quite proficient in certain types of martial arts, a state of affairs
stemming from an incident that occurred during his courtship of Debbye.
Debbye Squirrel Evans
(gray squirrel, age 36)
A member of the famous 'Clique', and a close friend of Sabrina (Mustelidae)
Foxx's, she and Lee are the parents of four-year-old twins. She, having
practiced just as long and hard as Lee, is also a very dangerous fur in
a fight.
Hemanth Rajid (mongoose, age 49)
Regional Director, ISB Anti-Terrorism Unit, Northeastern US. He is hyper-competent at his profession. His parents emigrated from India in 1971 when he was four years old. More than somewhat anal-retentive, his grammar is perfect, as is his etiquette. He has worked off and on for several years with . . .
Matt Sinclair (wolverine, age 44)
Matt is an internationally-known artist who uses oils, acrylics, and water-colors primarily, but who also has done a little sculpting and multi-media work. He is more-than-nominally religious. He has done favors for the ISB in the past, if he considers the objective morally sound, but doesn’t like to make it a habit. Only a handful of furs know of his other unique talent. He spent many years as a crime-fighting vigilante, but finally settled down to marry . . .
Diedra Shikari (mongoose, age 39)
Her parents came to the US from India before she was born. She is an ethereal beauty, svelte, smooth, exotic, and graceful, with huge, dark, almond-shaped eyes, and long, long black hair. She is quite intelligent, and a veritable rock of good sense, a steadying influence on Matt.
Chris Foxx (fox, age 44) and Sabrina Elizabeth Mustelidae Foxx (skunk, age 41)
Old friends of Wendy’s (she has had romantic intentions toward both of them from time to time). Chris was Wendy’s college sweetheart. Sabrina and Chris have five children: Samantha (13 – Built like a vixen, but inky black fur where a fox’s would be red), her twin brother Daren (13 – Basically a skunk, but his fur is dark gray where a normal skunk’s would be black), Endora (9 – In form a skunk, but her fur is black all over and incredibly soft, and she has no scent glands – named after Sabrina’s mother, but everyone calls her ‘Flossie’), Sean (7 – Looks like a fluffy fox, his fur is a darker-than-normal shade of brick red), and Alice (3 – Looks like a clone of her mother).
The O’Musca Family (dormice)
Martin, Sr. (born 1972) A fur of strong and unwavering faith, he moved his family to Vermont from Ireland in 2009 to escape religious persecution.
Siobhan (born 1978) Plump and motherly, her life’s focus is centered on helping her children to grow up happy. Her strong faith has carried her through the trials life has thrown at her, and she has done her level best to pass that faith on to her offspring.
Martin, Jr. (age 17, born October 10, 1999) Slim, friendly, and outgoing, he has a knack for working with mechanical things. Made his decision of faith shortly before they were forced out of Ireland, and has remained quite devout ever since.
Ian (age 13, born 2003) Has had a particularly difficult time dealing with his father’s death. Although he looks up to Martin (and always has) he had become quite the rebel. He wouldn’t stay in school, he wouldn’t obey his mother, he wouldn’t try to make friends. After Karl got close to the family, Ian started turning to him as “alpha male”, and has straightened out considerably.
Sean (age 10, born 2006) Was six when Martin, Sr. died. Took a long time to get over it and still misses his father, but Karl and Martin, Jr. are excellent role models. He seems to show promise of a mechanical aptitude similar to Martin’s.
Robert (age 7, born 2009) Robert came along two months after the family arrived in Vermont. He was three when his father died, and doesn’t remember him that well.
Alan Grey (gray squirrel, age
40) and Sandee Scurrey Grey (red squirrel, age 38)
Pastor of Mercy Chapel (nondenominational). They have six children: Amy (age
19, away studying linguistics at college - Alan is not her biological father.),
Juliette (age 17, senior in high school), Cameron (age 14, freshman in high
school), Joshua (age 13, the nerd of the outfit), Mark (age 10, draws constantly),
and Sally (age 8, enjoys her status as the baby of the family).
Cinnamon Jones (red squirrel, age 27)
Elvina Beryl “Cinnamon” Jones is a member of Mercy Chapel. She has a very friendly and outgoing nature.
Ellen Vison (white mink, age 22)
Ellen is a local girl, born in Vergennes. She is highly intelligent (IQ about 150), plays the piano very well, speaks French and a smattering of Spanish and German, and attended MIT on scholarship for four terms before deciding that she didn’t really want to be an engineer. Ellen is outgoing and athletic (runs every day and practices Kenpo karate) and, while slender almost to the point of being wiry, possesses more than normally attractive facial features.
Hamadi Gafah (jackal, age 58)
Leader of the quasi-military terrorist junta that took over Libya in 2003.
