Hey, you are turning into quite a writer.
Very nice.
Whoever said old raccoons can't learn any new tricks?

I thought that was dogs can't learn new tricks? Well past how to unlock a deadbolted door that is. *Lmao*
Oh and Fish, I haven't even begun to show off howmany styles I write yet so keep an eye peeled. I've got something special coming in time.

well, after firmly removing my head from my hindquarters (ok, not that way...I just had family in town and haven't had time to read even the newspaper, let alone my favorite authors' stuff...
I like it Mike, it explains some interesting pieces of the story!

Now I'm curious...
Which pieces?
Most of the story can be inferred from Rrsh'Dhana's Diary, part 2.
Some of it should be logical, and the rest is pure Mike
I'd say he did a marvellous job of the challenge I gave him... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Quite marvellous. Inferrences are grand, as they leave a LOT to the imagination (and I LIKE imagining things!!!), but I also like to see what others perspectives are. gets my creative bits going. _________________ "Do not Taunt Happy Fun God" -Cthulhu |

As far as any more things----well just have to wait and see if something reaches out to me again and demands to be written. |
Oh dear... only a writer for a feww weeks and already a commnet junkie. I haven't read the complete story yet but I will as soon as I can and them post some comments. I already told you that I found the parts you showed to me were great. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Mike - I think I can speak for most writers, if not all of us.
Every one of us that I know of feels inferior to the rest of the group. I look at my stuff and say "Why bother?", but then I see the stuff you guys say about it, and it makes it worthwhile. (Sometimes it takes forever. Look at the next chapter of Serina - I may actually have gotten past that hump I was having probs with. But it's been how many months?)
What I'm trying to say is this -you're a good writer. We're always hardest on our own stuff.

Don't sell yourself short. It takes a lot more writing to get to the point where you can easily write stuff without your muse acutally whipping you into shape.
I am having a lot of problems with the latest chapter(s) of my story, because there are several scenes that I did not enjoy writing. Somehow I made it, but there is quite a bit that I am not really satisfied with.
Now that I think of it, this is like a lot of other things, like relationships. You are over the first rush of emotion, now comes a difficult part and you'll have to see if you can make it through a rough spot. It can still become something very beautiful, but you'll have to work hard for it, for a while at least. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Hi All,
As many of you know I'm the Old Gray Racoons other half. I know, I know it makes him sound like he is half Racoon and half Dragon Racoon, now that I'm done with my ramble.
I saw a lot of his rewrites and I think he did a good job on Sermma and Roger. _________________ Read a book and let your imagination take take flight

Hey there, Lady!
Yes, I, too, think Mike did a FINE job---
Sorry I didn't see it when first posted, but I've been kinda busy winding up my "current" job and getting ready to start a new one come Monday.
Our "European Kitty" alerted me to Mike's newest work, and I just gave it a look-see. GOOD work! A nice bit of "interlude" for those who enjoy peeking "behind the scenes" of a living story.
As most furries know, human/non-human "attraction" isn't new; it's been both written about and illustrated in literature and art as far back as there's BEEN literature and art, and it's CELEBRATED, not scorned.
This "interlude" is VERY tastefully done, and satisfies both those who want "more-more-MORE!" as well as those who's shoulder blades begin to twitch when "matters" get a bit explicit. As Baby Bear says, "It's JUST RIGHT---!"
Kudos to your uglier half, my dear!
(And I'll wager that you had at least a teeny-tiny bit of "input" into it, too!) _________________ James R. Lane

I finally took the time to read it seriously and have to say that it's great work. Very tasteful and a nice view into what happened on the sides of the main story.
Thumbs up, Mike _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species
