I know I do, man after ch. 6 I had to take a break for a couple of days before reading the rest and I remember being so angry with Chris too.

Illustration from Tabitha: Chapter 6.

I'm not sure if this is appropriate right now, since the passing of TV Dave, but death is a part of life. I tried doing this once before, and couldn't finish, but today seemed the day to try again. The illustration is still incomplete. I have yet to put Alan's paw in next to Sabrina's muzzle. The reason this is hard for me is that I did the exact same thing when my father died. I was only 5, and he'd been in a car accident too. I just had to make sure for myself he wasn't breathing anymore.

I'll probablly finish it, but not today.

I hope I've done the scene justice.

...it's just a story, and it's just a picture...

Then why are you crying?

...shut up...

Answer the question.

You know the answer.

Yes. But do you?

...

...

Yes.

...

...

Because the writers have made them real to me, and he did too good a job with that picture. Happy now?

Yes. Because you needed to admit it to yourself. Grief is not bad. It's a sign of love. Remember that.

I'll try.

Damn, that picture hurts. My eyes sting too damn much from this week. I'm not used to crying.

It is painful to look upon.

Did you do justice to the scene?

Can there be any doubt that the answer is affermative?

Chris my heart goes out to you, I know what this one will do to you.

Thank you. It's quite the picture, isn't it?

God, I love her.

Thanks, Cirrel.

When I first looked at your post, JBird, I have to admit, my fur bristled. Someone else had already drawn this? How can that be? Is someone accusing me of copying? I put a lot of time and effort into this! It actually *hurt* doing it! What the...?

But then I remembered I'd seen this picture before, too.

It had been vividly painted in my mind... with the words from Tabitha.

<sighs and looks appologetically at JBird>

Good stories do that to me, too.

And sometimes, those images just have to come out.

Not what I'm getting at, Cirrel. Tabitha's great, but I'm not talking about seeing that in-story.

And no, I'm not saying you jacked this idea from anyone else.

Confused It's sooo weird. Some people would only see a dead thing in that picture.

To me (and probably most others who post here) it is almost as painful as seeing a family member lie there. Crying or Very sad

If the lightbulb that just lit over my head told me rightly, then I grieve for your loss.

If it was wrong, then I slink back into the shadows, red-faced, saying, "Ooops..."

Once more into the breech.

My last Tabitha 6 picture.

Sometimes I hate my muse, but this one was worth it. It celebrates the best thing in life.

Love.

OUCH!! That hurts deeply, but that's because it's a beautiful piece of work.

My compliments to the artist.

Got it in one, Kinsfire. That wet, meaty ripping sound you just heard was part of my mind I'd rather had remained closed. I hafta be a masochist... knew full well what I'd see when I opened up that link. Go freakin' me.

And with that, I think I'm going to get unbelievably trashed this weekend.

I don't know if you'll ever know how sorry I am that I was right. I can't afford to get trashed this weekend, but I promise to hoist one for you, too.
