Okay, I've been wanting to do this, so now I'll open a thread for it. What music do you "hear" or listen to for either the story, or any and all individual characters? I have some ideas I'll put forward later in specific, but in general, here are some tunes that I've used in teh story.
Fire On High by E.L.O. (duh, that's where teh name comes from, heh."
Amazing Grace as done by the Scottish National Pipe and Drum Corps. Alternatively, Foxamoore's version is fantastic, too.
Let me hear your ideas and choices. Too cliche', never!

Gotta go with "Danger Zone" during the squareoff scenes between Jedi and Ice, or when Ice is showing off to friends or family.

Boston's 'Take my breath away' seems entirely appropriate for some of the scenes between Alex and Corrie |

Alex's joy in his budding relationship with Corrie brought "Hole Hearted" by Extreme to mind. And when Alex's USAF career ended and he became a reservist, it put me to mind of "Comin' Home" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. For Alex himself, at this point in his life, I think "Reach For The Sky" by Social Distortion might be appropriate.

As cheesy as it sounds, when I thought of the scene with the ZZ Studios cast taking their picture with Stripes 1, I thought of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" (By Cindi Lauper... I think?) _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

*hmm*
Potential song for when Anatol passes : When I Get Where I'm Going - Brad Paisley
Fight Scene inn the Dojo : Kung Fu Fighting ((and I know it's cheesy))
Perfect theme for JM3 : Imperial March - From Star Wars ((Fits his ego))
Hmm .. Alex .. : Under Pressure - Queen .. I'm not sure where it'd fit, but it fits the 'Ice' persona..
Song for Anton's passing : Knocking on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan
*giggle* Alex mad : Cold as Ice - Foreigner(sp)
Jenna & Jack meeting - Sweet Emotion : Aerosmith
Alex & Corrie - when the prop starts : Love is a Battlefield - Pat Bennetar(sp)
Hmmm .. for 'Whitey' : Fox on the Run - Sweet >.>
Alex flying alone : Free Bird - Lynard Skynard
Alex working out prior to Jason's funeral : Jump - Van Halen
*grin* for Scatcat .. : The Lion Sleeps Tonight .. do't know where it'd fit.
Alex & Corrie fishing : Lost in the Moment - Big & Rich
Any dream sequence : Dreamweaver - Kansas >.> ((Yes, I'm strange))
*giggle* ZZ : Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress - The Hollies >.<
Hmm .. JM3 scheming : Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - AC/DC
Alex & Corrie again : You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
Alex meeting Corrie : Thunderstruck - AC/DC *Giggle*
... That's it, for now. ^_^ _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

James Bruner was inspired by "Long Cool Woman" to begin the story known as ZZ Noir. You guys must be on the same channel, Karou. <grins>

Excerpts of the track "The Enterprise" from the original Motion Picture for Alex's inspection tour of his new bird, and "Leaving Drydock" for the first taxi, take-off and maneuver set.

Anton's passing seems to go with Jeff Buckley's version of 'Hallelujah'...imho the best version of that song ever recorded. |

The scene isn't written yet, but in the future, you will see Alex and Billy do their airshow routine in Stripes One and Two. The soundtrac for that will start with "Fire On High," and then go right into Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero." _________________ Tiger, tiger, burning bright...
