I'm really liking the quick updates!! This is cool. The story is taking a darker turn, and the Jackal has more influence than I initially thought. That, and I'm starting to feel bad for Zig, as she's being mentally beaten on at every turn. Great chapter as always, and I'm getting more hooked every new chapter. Still got me guessing. Great job Hikaru!!

There's no such thing as "too fast" when posting chapters.

Well the only thing I caught was near the end of the bit with Anatol he was thinking how things might get out of "hand", should that not be out of "paw" as furs would not have any concept of hands? Great read as always Bear keep it up. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston

To be honest, I never did feel too good about using "paw" If you have an opposeable thumb and fingers, it's a hand. Even monkeys are considered to have hands.
When I re-write Act I, I'll be fixing that then.

Well it seems the doctor's wife was not there to help Sheila but to keep her there for as long as possible. After all she was definately not happy that Sheila was happy and out of the depresion she was in, she was not happy that she was no longer in control of Sheila's emotions, which means she's been doing her best to keep Sheila in her depresion instead of helping her. and the Jackal had a female working for him in the recovery house that knew a lot that was going on. It may have not be the doctors wife but I severely doubt it. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

I don't think it's the Dr.'s wife (Amanda). It could be any female employee, or maybe even a patient planted to watch her (like the FBI agent is. Hmm, I haven't seen much of Carl lately). _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

I think it's the Doctor's wife. There are only a few fur's at the clinic that have any control over whether Sheila stays or leaves, and those fur's are the good doctor and his wife. Everyone else there is just a worker, whether planted by someone powerful or not. Only the heads of the treatment clinic can release patients, or recommend keeping them for further treatment. That's my $.02 anyway. Have Fun all!!

Yeah, but others can create situations for Sheila that might tend to delay evidence of her recovery. Though, her talk with James put a major crimp in those plans.
BTW, we still haven't had any clues as to who's been installing and monitoring those (extra?) cameras at the facility watching her. Maybe Carl will eventually notice them if the FBI didn't put them in. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

Who said they were extras? If you ran a psych facility, wouldn't you have video cameras in all the public areas to document outburst to determine exactly what happened? _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

Yes, I assumed that the facilty would have their own surveilance system. But the way you mentioned the camera(s), I thought they were secretly added by someone other than the staff. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Either way you look at it, the cameras are bad. If they're extra's secretly put there by the bad guys, it's bad. If they're just the normal cameras, it's bad since the good doctors wife is probably working for the Jackal. (I say probably 'cause I still think she is, but we'll find out soon enough.) The way I see it, it's bad either way. I'm looking forward to finding out!! Have fun!!
