Great writing as usual Hikaru. Though I must admit I was not pleased with the shock that Sheila recieved. Though I'm sure it serves a purpose It could end up sending her back to the prison like cell if she's not careful.
On another note Anatol seems to be acting out a few more behaiviors I've asociated with Arden as the promise to keep her safe and his promise to try and help her as much as possible. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

True, but there were also a couple of things in this chapter that weigh against him being Arden. First, there was the scene where Shiela was taking in the view of all the reporters and Anatol got to take in the view of Shiela. A very amusing moment, I might add. Doesn't seem like Arden to get hot under the collar like Anatol did. Second, there was his reaction when Shiela mentioned dragon's eyes. Anatol was confused when she first mentioned it, and went on to ask her for an explanation. Arden would have known right away what she was referring to, so he'd have to be a good actor and quick on the uptake to have reacted the way Anatol did.
Of course, the latter scene raises the possibility that the cub in question could be Arden. Since the cub was already alive in utero throughout Acts 2 and 3 when we knew who/where Arden was (in fact he was the one carrying the cub in Act 2), we assume he couldn't have become the cub, but that doesn't rule out him cohabiting the cub's body. _________________ mwalimu

I say that Arden still hasn't shown himself...
he might have been transported to Sheila's world, but I think that he either:
A) hasn't revealed himself
B) due to temporal difgerences, hasn't appeared yet
C) Hikaru hasn't thought it up yet... _________________ My Deviant artpile

Or how about this, that mouse Heceat (sp?) met up with a few chapters back is Arden and the the one he wants her to locate is Sheila's sister Tammy. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston

I still have a hunch Anatol is either Arden or has some sort of role in this grander scheme.

A very good friend of mine, Father Phill Root and I like to go out for sushi every so often. Our discussions don't often turn towards religion, but when they do, it can be interesting. We were having dinner with a couple of friends and someone mentioned some religious "rapture" movie which got us onto the subject of of religious fiction. That eventualy turned towards the bible and I made the declaration that the Bible was one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever written. Phill just laughed at the statement and pointed out that the bible's mostly just a morals guide and collection of short-stories emphasizing that fact. He didn't quite agree that it's fiction, but he did agree there were enough contradicitons that he could see how people could get that idea.

I have also suggested that the mouse is Arden but we have very little eveidence that he is. None actually other than where the H*** did he get the viscous mana from. But that points to another source other than Arden.
And as for Arden sharing a body with his kit, I think it's unlikely but a possibility, unless Hikaru wants to tell us that it's not a posibility. He has said that the kits will not be the rebirth of anyone who has bought the farm so to speak.
And Arden is a good actor when he has to be. That is when he has his emotions under control. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

Hey! Since when can the author give out 'spoilers"? <Winks at Hikaru> In that case, I'll put in my 2 cents and say with confidence that Arden isn't coming back as a reincarnated Elvis.
