It's been reported in tabloids, in the press and in the news-papers. It's out there.

Arden will NOT return in his old form. That was declared by his guardian angel in Act 3.
Does nobody remember stuff from the end of act 3 any more? Everyone who talks about Arden coming back always assumes that he's going to be a polar bear! It ain't gonna happen! *sighs and tries to calm down*

Interesting chapter. An interview is a great way to catch up with a lot of the backstory.
What I'm really interesting is, is how much (if anything) Zig is going to cut out (and what). _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

And to help with the fun, here's another image for y'all.
Sometimes, I think Cirrel is having WAY too much fun illustrating this story! |

Says latest chapter is 6. Maybe you need to refresh your browser so it'll reload the page. IE is notoriously horrible about that. |
That wasn't the problem (this time). It seems that you didn't update this website yet....
Now...I've got to check out the website under your siggy and get caught up.... _________________ Hortmage, the Magic Gardener

Hate to break it to you, that's the same site.
I think the problem is that I moved the web page to a new host over a week ago and there are machines out there going to the old URL.
MicroSlop is notorious about Windoze boxes never releasing their DNS chache so if you've not rebooted for a while, or your ISP uses a Windoze box for DNS and THEY haven't rebooted for a while, you're gonig to keep getting the wrong address even though there's a 48 hour maximum lifetime associated with the domain. Really pisses me off, but nothing I can do about it.

OK, I'm back again after having read Chapter 6.
Oh. My. God.
I'm going to have to disagree with Webkilla...this was an awesome chapter! Not only the length, which was impressive...
Hey, it's quality, not quantity!
...but the sheer amount of backstory you provided. I'm assuming you ran this past James Bruner beforehand, but how much of this is canon to her history, as per Zig Zag, the Story?
I like the wide range of questions that were asked. I also appreciated the raw emotion Zig shows when dealing with some of Logan's questions. Very well written, very believable.
The "story" of Sheila and Arden at the end...this, I assume, was the "history" that Lucifer implanted in her mind. I'd believe it. Only a purely evil being could possibly come up with something that horrible and twisted.
...Um, sorry about that, Hikaru....
Anyway...it's no wonder that Sheila is an emotional wreck. If she really had lived through the entire 9 month ordeal, this warehouse scene alone would be enough to send most beings over the edge. Then, to spend 9 months in the mafia bordello.... It's borderline whether you should slap a warning on that last part of the chapter, Hikaru...that was truly twisted.
All in all...my congratulations on this chapter! Well done!
And I'm changing the url I use to get to your stories...! _________________ Hortmage, the Magic Gardener

None. Other than borrowing the characters and starting situations, nothing in my story is cannon with ZZ Studios.

Unfortunately, having dealt with law enforcement in my younger days, I've read of such situations. In fact, that was taken almost completely from an occurance in Arizona with the exception of the fact that the girl was also killed.

12 month ordeal, not nine.

It shouldn't matter. It was just a question of DNS. Both URL's point to the same location, so it shouldn't make a difference...

A great chapter. Yet another version of Zig Zag's past to confuse the fans.
But one thing made me very suspicious: during the last part of the interview, ever since James joined them on the stage, Logan kept looking for the red light that indicates which camera is 'looking'. Now I'd have expected all cameras to be active all the time so Zig Zag can choose during editing which one gave the best view of each situation. The little red light on the camera would only be important if only one channel could be recorded or transmitted, i.e. when they're live on air. |

In production, they use a "red light" to indicate the preferred "hot" camera. It goes back to the old days of live broadcasting. Even though the interview is being taped with one tape for each camera, there's a master deck that the director is using as he switches between cameras. All that can be changed in final editing, but it's still there. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

That is indeed a bummer. I guess that means I'll need to continue reading James' story for another couple of years until he decides to give us HIS take on her history.
Refering to the torture scene: It's a real shame that real life incidents can outdo anything a creative writer of fiction can make up. Some real sickos out there...I hope they're having a real nice time entertaining Drip and Jack...
Who was the producer at the end of the story (I'm assuming that's who Mike is refering to as a cameo)? Was that supposed to be Mike? _________________ Hortmage, the Magic Gardener
