I don't know that I'll get to write one, too many other irons in the fire, but I definitely like this idea.
Oh, and as long as you don't violate the nature of my character, writers have my permission to use my character in their Adventure Kay stories. If there are any questions, please contact me; similarly if there are any questions over "Miss Piggy". I hope to be able to eventually produce a 3-view of her, and perhaps a 3-D model for Mapper. _________________ "But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cateagle. Since it's for the good of PlanetFurry, I agree to have my story included.
However, according to the disclaimer, all the persons who have characters participating in it must be asked for permission as well, though I don't think any of them (Kayngi, Maxx, Tigermark, DarkeWolf, Hurtful Wolf, and Crayzed Wolf, IIRC) will mind. _________________ Lt. I certainly don't mind, and I think that's a great idea, Mike. I'd love to be included. I'll even send you the official pic of Stripes One, if you'd like. Mapper has seen it, so I'll post it over on the artwork thread, and let me know and I'll send you a copy. I also have one I'm finishing up of Kay and Maxx taking off in the Sopwith Buffalo. It'll be ready shortly.

If you want to include that micro story I did, feel free to do so. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

I thought it would qualify as one... after all, she dies in it.
Oh well, wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

If nothing else Ty's story does provide some background on Kay's ties to the Dagger of Time. _________________ Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators the creator seeks--those who write new values on new tablets.

I think Mike was referring to Tygon's story as being told from the character Tygon Panthera's point of view. POV is important in determining who the main characters in a story are. I think to qualify as an AK story, some of the story should be from Kay's point of view, otherwise writing convention relegates her to a supporting character role instead of a main character. (The only exception to this are stories written using the 'narrator' approach.)
However, as Aramis points out, stories such as Tygon's, can provide important background information about characters, no matter if they are the mains ones or not.

Ah, that explains a lot. "The Dagger of Time" was only posted in the forum and never announced anywhere else. No surprise it was missed. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

The sidekick getting his own limelight, eh? Sounds like a James Bond spinoff only as a contra guerilla.
