I have posted another short story. It is titled "Anything."

Have fun. Smile Twisted Evil Or maybe not. Rolling Eyes

Hmmm, maybe a few of the things are a little over the top, but I'm not sure. You tell me. I'm pretty certain there are furs (and humans) who go through things like that or even worse.

No, I did not plan to post it on the 4th of July, I just happened to finish it today.

Well, it's fun as in good writing, but not any other way. It is well written and I can't really say it's over the top; I've heard/seen enough to agree with your certainty. I'd say that charity seems to be sponsored by what Ray Stevens once called the "First Self-Righteous Church" (see his song, "Mississippi Squirrel Revival", for a humorous look at self-righteousness and hypocrisy).

Thanks for a thought-stirring piece.

Cateagle

PS. Sorry for the late response, tried to take things easy this holiday weekend.

Crying or Very sad

I won't say that was beautiful, because her circumstances make that impossible. But it was true, and honest, and very well-done.

Crying or Very sad

You wouldn't believe how often (well, maybe you would ... either that, or you have an incredibly vivid imagination) that story or a version of it plays out in this world. Life is little more than a burden for too many people.

Thank you for sharing. I'll bet that was painful to write.

Actually, not as such.

What was painful, was having to write it.

(What a distinction? Or am I only splitting hairs?)

Very well written the way you left the interview one sided allowing the reader to feel as though they themselves were asking the questions very novel I liked it, the femmes situation however sadly felt all to real, sad commentary on today’s society Sad
