Would pounce hug ya but I'd be afraid I'd cripple ya. And there are some people around here that would take offense at that. Good to see ya here and me and Kittens wishes that this year is better. _________________ Beware the light at the end of the tunnel, just might be the headlights of my speeding truck. =0.0.=

Thanks DF. Happy New Year to you and your kitten as well.
How's the photography going? I haven't had a chance to pick up a camera in some time now. Too bad, because we've had some awesome weather and lighting conditions around here the past couple of months.
My little Canon A95 that I carry around with me everywhere is on the fritz. I need to get the LCD replaced, it's color reproduction is whack. It'll take images OK, but I really can't tell much about them until I download them.
It's always somethin' ...

Thanks for the commentary on my very temporary headgear, Filly. I much prefer my old black hat, although I seemed to get a much more lively reaction to the pointy red thing. Or maybe it was my shieldmaiden-esque attitude that went along with it, I don't know.
I can tell you one thing though. My entire crew was not invited to the little mid-day party thrown last week to facilitate the de-construction of the company Christmas Tree. No invitation, no explanation.
Maybe they were afraid somefur would be trying to mark his territory ... ?

The temporary headgear is seen in the initial post to my blog for 2011. The image is here. This is not my normal hat. And probably not normally my attitude on things either.
My normal headgear is seen here. Mike Regan is the fur on the left, he's the proprietor of The Raccoon's Bookshelf (a plug for which I am in no way compensated ...). And no, Mike is not normally known for carrying potted plants around on his shoulders either. He was being attacked by a plant on Styx patio during an informal soCal furmeet last summer. Long story ...
I hope that answers your questions Amiga.

I would suspect someone is linking to one or more of his graphics again. I mean, why host an image on your own server when you can just hot-link it and steal someone's bandwidth?

Mike left me a voicemail regarding this issue earlier today <tips hat to the old gray raccoon>.
I have added an "htaccess" file to the site, and will continue to monitor. There are a couple of images on the "pictures" page that appear to have been hot linked by quite a few individuals, thus the ultimate solution is to take down that page if "htaccess" doesn't work.
I must confess I haven't been paying that close attention to the site in recent weeks. My thanks to Mike and Fraz and Kel for the heads-up.
Back to life ...

... and this has been fixed, hopefully. The trouble page in question, as well as the rest of the site, are available once again. Steps have been taken to mitigate the problem in the future. We'll see how effective they are ...

So I see. I'm working with the host to figure out what's happening.
It was working ... really!
