ROFL
That's a good one, Mike. Have to send it to a few friends. _________________ Nicolai

I know of at least ONE fighter jock who would have loved a coffee machine in his plane...
This was probably in the early 80s.
A Swedish pilot who was about to fly across Norway when returning from the States begged to be allowed to land for a little while.
(No, he wasn't declaring an emergency... )
The heating had failed somewhere over the Atlantic and he was in serious need of something hot to thaw him out. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Amsterdam, fourth red light window on the third street. her name is Amanda. Don't ask, if I tell you I'll have to kill you.

I think I would prefer the BLU-82B/C-130 weapons system. Noisy as hell, throws a heat plume and exhaust trails similar to that of an F-4 Phantom II, no fancy technology, and ... watch out below! Lotsa BOOM!
But then again, something as sexy looking as the OWL could probably fly rings around a C-130, and be invisible to radar and thermal imaging while it was doing it. As a pilot I guess it all comes down to whether or not I can learn all those new systems and technology.
<thinks>
Call me old fashioned, I guess. Me and Joe will fly the Herk.

And great for making emergency LZ's
My Father-in-law has a series of pictures he took (while serving in the Marines in Vietnam) showing one of those coming down and detonating. Just looking at the picture of the explosion you'd swear the a nuc had gone off. If I can find them I'll scan them and post the here. _________________ Beware the light at the end of the tunnel, just might be the headlights of my speeding truck. =0.0.=
