I went and toured the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum over in Claremore, Oklahoma back on Friday. This little number grabbed my attention the moment I saw it. Thought I would share it you all.

Uploaded some more photos tonight, this time to my flickr account. I'll probably upload most of the pics I took to there over the next several days. What I uploaded tonight were photos of the Mason Hotel Exhibit. The Mason Hotel (which no longer exists) was once owned by Mr. Davis and was where his collection got it's start.

Cracked.com mentioned this little nightmare in their weirdest weapons that actually exist list. They referred to getting attacked by it as being "Fistablasted." |

The problem with the 'knuckeduster' and similar weapons is that they have to use ridiculously small calibres.
(Yes, there existed calibres smaller than the .22 rimfires)
That, and the almost complete lack of a barrel means you have low accuracy, low velocity and very poor penetration.
Worst case?
You punch someone in the belly and pull the trigger, and if your opponent is a bit 'well padded', he doesn't even notice that you shot him...
Frankly, I'd be more worried about someone wielding a broken bottle, or an icepick. Even a phillips-head screwdriver is more dangerous. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"
