I think the lack of response is due to everyone being on vacation or other such things like that.

Glad you're enjoying it, Karou.
You know, just today I was a stone's throw from that very Perko's restaurant in Turlock where the fun all began for the story.
Next time I'll get a pic of it for grins. I thought it would be fun to go to all the Northern California sites in the story and take a picture to share with y'all.

Ah yes, the puzzle pieces are falling together. Rather slowly but the final scene is beginning to coalesce.

hmmm... just re-read the whole series up to date to get a recap of whats going on. Maria Cortez sounds like a lesser entitie in service of mother earth, just a wild guess.
