Having finally read all three acts of IC and this chapter (still have to read Yin's IC, though), I have to wonder, whatever became of Shiela's wish at the end of Act I, for Bjorn to still be alive? Did I mess something, or is that still in the cards?

Also, I hope Khansman's efforts to intimidate or silence witnesses in Zig Zag's trial (not to mention his earlier hits on Arden, et al) eventually get exposed,

Good story! Now maybe I can get some more writing done.

i have just noticed but in the first chapter of act IV i think you ment trial and not trail
