Hello all. Aslaug has yet again, and very kindly, allowed me to use this forum space to post another of my stories, since they tie in crucially to what she and Kellan have written in the ALN/ALS universe.
Therefore, I will be posting a four-part short story set after the events of Test of Time and Redemption, entitled Lux Aeterna. It deals with some of the effects and psychological scars the events of the prior stories have had on the filly and Constantine, and will later include what Aslaug herself described as "a fight sequence that would make John Woo proud". That said, I hope everyone who reads it gets a kick out of it.
I will post one part every week, to give everyone who wants to time to read it properly and comment if they feel so inclined. Part one is included at the bottom of this post.
Hope you all enjoy it. _________________ "Without question, the greatest invention in the history of [fur]kind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza." — Dave Barry |

Well, for the few people that have so far shown an interest in this story (my thanks go out to them for taking the time to read it and comment), here is part 2 of Lux Aeterna. More shenanigans abound, and the build-up reaches an interesting cliffhanger. Enjoy.
Cobra out. _________________ "Without question, the greatest invention in the history of [fur]kind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza." — Dave Barry |

It's just that the forum is a bit quiet these days, but I am glad you are posting this ...

Hmm . . . methinks things just went into the excrement disposal device.
Look out, Aslaug and Kester!

And now we come to the crescendo of this four-part story. Part 3 of Lux Aeterna is essentially one continuous fight sequence, with various degrees of trust issues, banter, and a huge dose of ultra-violence.
And if the style of the fight reminds you of something, try reading it again while listening to this:

Enjoy. _________________ "Without question, the greatest invention in the history of [fur]kind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza." — Dave Barry |

And here it is. Part 4 of Lux Aeterna. The final section, and a suitable climb down from the frantic nature of the last part. This one took me a while to refine and finish, but I'm glad I was able to get this one ready for viewing.
I can't express how pleased I am to have these posted. Even if only a few will see it, it's nice to think that I can continue to contribute to a universe so dear to the likes of the filly and myself. But I'm prattling on. Enjoy. _________________ "Without question, the greatest invention in the history of [fur]kind is beer. Very well wrapped up, yet leaving an opening for a continuance.
Bravo!
