Heehee ... that's why the barn will have a basement.
That got a giggle out of me
Good chapter, but damned, I wouldn't like that kind of homecoming. |

Yeah, that's not exactly how one would want to return home; all scuffed and scraped, not able to tend to your own needs, your husband too sick to see about you and your poor ranch house badly damaged.
At least things are looking up for them . . . or are they?

I also rather liked the idea of Aslaug as "entrenched" in her log cabin. I can just see her there, sitting on the floor with her axes while the Real World is hammering on her door.

"EXPEEEERIENCE MEEEEE!"

Well, I'm not sure how well this chapter will be received, so without further adieu, I offer up Chapter 07 of "Redemption"
There will be some twists and a few revelations to be discovered in this chapter. There will also be a chance to understand a few of the players a little better, too. To be precise, one scruffy canid of indeterminate origin and one very aggressive badger. I hope you all enjoy the read.

Geez, Kellan, now that's just mean on a couple of levels. Not sure who I feel more for, Tor or Victoria, or thier new visitors.

Well what did youexpect from Zagam? He already learned not to confront Torvald and Victoria directly, so, using what seemed like a good tactic, he indirectly took a shot at the Immortal Couple.
This new complication brings forth an issue that will be covered in Chapter 08. One that might have some very nasty repercussions for Tor. Can you guess what?
Stay tuned!

Ouch, this is going to be one major headache... scratch that, it already is. If Aslaug ever gets wind of what is happening to Tor and Vicki, she is going to go berzerker on all the lessor gods involved with this. _________________ Fortune Cookie that I keep in my walet say's "Knowledge is the only good and Ignorance is the only evil."

I've been seriously neglecting these forums for a while now. Just started reading Redemption today and got up to chapter 4. May be done through 7 tonight.
On the 5th wheel camper, in many cases you don't level the camper before pulling the truck out, in fact for some you can't, as the front of the trailer has to go down quitew a bit from where it's sitting on the truck. We always pull the truck out from under the trailer before the initial leveling, though normally leave the cable connected to share the load with the charging system until it's set up.
And most (cheaper) corner jacks I've seen (if not mounted) use a simple bar, not a wrench to adjust. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |
