When my sister and I were growing up we had very little. Our family hit hard times and with each passing year from 1994 on, it got worse and worse.
So what we did have we were extremely attached to. One thing we had was our cats. Among our favorite cats was James. James (A.K.A. "Jibby") was indeed one of the most unique. He was the softest cat you could ever pet, he was nearly human intelligent, and we even wrote him a theme song. XD
We loved him dearly and even had to defend him twice from being given away.
In his old age he has been partially blind and deaf. And last night he fell ill to the point of paralysis. I do not believe he will make the day. He is hardly breathing, cold and stiff. He will pass away.
Because I live so far away, this is the only way I have to say goodbye to him. To share his memory with ya'll.

Sorry to hear about your cat, Cookie. We just lost a kitty this spring to cancer.
