I emailed ScottyDM and have been discussing making my own Anthro Fiction contest, at least until he gets his site back up in March.
So, I've created a simple site for The Tale Weaver Anthro Fiction Contest.
The site is hosted on Tripod (ads galore, ugh) but we plan on moving the site to a ad-free address in early January.
Here's the contest info:
------------------------------------------
Are you interested in story writing? Love furries? Desire to make your name in the literary world?
Look no further than the Tale Weaver Anthro Fiction Contest.
This competition was created for writers who wish to practice their craft of short story writing. For those who are familiar with the Anthro Fiction Network www.anthrofiction.net this will give you a chance to train for upcoming contests.
The theme of this contest is UNIQUE RELATIONSHIPS. Draw upon your experience in life and show us the heartbreaking, the endearing, or the bizarre.

Scotty
PS: Vaper, you might want to edit two of your links, they seem to contain some junk: a comma and a closing bold tag, plus you probably don't want the "#comments" bit either. _________________

Thanks, Scotty! I fixed those links.
According to my webmaster, during the first six days of January the Tale Weaver Anthro Fiction site received 76 hits (about six of which were the moderators). So, people are looking at the site and interest is there. I guess I'll have to wait till the end of January to see who submits.
My webmaster is looking into a way to convert rtf to pdf. I told her about Open Office and she's checking into it.

The final judging period for the contest is currently underway.
Final day for judging is March 17th. That's nine days from now.
We need readers who are willing to read short stories that range from 3 pages to 8 pages. We have three stories. Even if you can only critique one, we'd greatly appreciate it.

There was a slight technical faux pas with the Tale Weaver website code for scoring the stories, so I've lent the Anthrofiction Networks ballot pages to the Tale Weaver contest. Don't freak out when you see you're bouncing between the two websites. The ballot e-mails go directly to Vaper and I don't see them.
I got my scores and comments in for the Tale Weaver contest. What about you? _________________
