Old games, most of them, but some are quite good... anyone still playing these turn-based strategy games?

If so what's your favourite game/town to play as?

(I'm quite partial to 3, with the rampart town being my fave... 4 was still the game that made me like the series though)

I've gotta say that I like 3 the most, at least compared to 4.

There was some new units in 4 that was awesome, and some of the campaigns were good, but the fact that you had to choose one unit over the other in the towns.

But one feature I do like with 4, is that you can use your hero IN COMBAT, as opposed to 3 where he/she could only use magic.

All in all, though, I like 3 the most.

And my favorite town would have to be Necropolis. The Vampire Lords are SO win! I mean, regenerating based on damage? COME ON!? In sufficient numbers they can kill ANYTHING!

Just my opinion, though Wink

HOMM 2 will eternally hold a special place in my heart

HOMM 3, with all its expansion, is THE greatest turn-based strategy computer-game ever

love it

I own HOMM2 plus Price of Loyalty Expansion, HOMM3 plus Armageddon's Blade expansion. Love them both. Never played 4, got to look at 5 at E3 last year.
