The Science Show 'Nova' is having a specail this week about Einstein and this theories, especailly on his General Relativity, where all the other theories come from, including time travel.
Hope you guys get the rerun during the weekend. _________________ SHARKS In The Gene Pool South of Kosovo!

Good news, apparently an update of Penrose theory of Twistor space, but set in hypercomplex dimentions, can be shown to Massively simplify the solutions to Feynmann interactions. And to be relateable to superstring theories.
Hmm.. complex dimentions.. I wonder.. do they still claim the real and imaginary parts are physically different?.. or have they realised they are different parts of the same number, just as decimal and integer are different parts of a normal number?
Just wondering.. I have a simple mind 8}..
5 complex dimentions and a variable speed of light will do me.
And that paradoxes only arise, because they have to. 8}

go here for some clarification on string theory. its actually a somewhat sound and very interesting theory involving in the demensional theorum. _________________ Asalis: (uh*sah*lis)

Pretzels might be more important than we know .
From some research papers put forward, apparently one viable description of particles, is that they are braids. A pretzel is a braid. But, charges are due to twists in the braid. Since it takes three lengths to make a braid, each twist is good for one third of an electron charge, so you can have all quarks and electrons, and antiparticles.
Another thing to notice is, even though there is structure to the braiding, taking it apart leads to no braid existing. The braid is the smallest unit of reality in this case.
By the way.. I got the lorentz contraction formula, from simplifying a variable velocity of propagation modified tuning formula for stringed instruments.. namely.. the Piano.
Music of the Spheres.

Holy crap
I think I understood some of that.
I had no idea that all this time I was eating science. _________________ Better to lose a minute of your life, than your life in a minute. |

Accidentally found this website and man am I glad I did. Anyone who reads Tabitha needs to check this out.
www.tenthdimension.com
According to this Tabitha and her co-workers have not only invented a time machine. They've invented a machine capable of sending someone to alternate realities.
This may explain why Tabitha can change history without entering the loophole of doom and destroying existence.
Now either Chris found this site before writing Tabitha, or his knowledge of time and space goes waaaay beyond the knowledge of anyone I know.
He may also be very good at guessing _________________ Better to lose a minute of your life, than your life in a minute. |

Actually this premise has already been and is being explored in the Sabby verse. Kinsfire has a story called Serena that follows this very line of thought, though the inter dimensional travel was inadvertent result of sabotage check it out on Kinsfire's site, not finished and hasn't been updated for a couple years but at last word he swears he's not abandoning it. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Ouch!
Yes, I still live! I have every intention of finishing the story. RIght now I'm looking at the older chapters and realising that the new chapters will be much different stylistically from the earlier ones.
I'll let people know when I update. _________________ That which does not kill me probably hurt like a sonuvabitch. |
