Blue
Eyed Leopard's Lair
Leopard (Panthera
pardus)
The Leopard lives
both on the ground and in trees.
It is a skillful hunter
that blends in well with its surroundings,
as it stalks its prey.
A Leopard may drag the animal up a tree
after making a kill,
to store the prey until it is hungry.
The Leopard's coat
is a light tan with many dense spots,
but the coloration
and darkness of the coat varies slightly
according to the environment.
Black Leopards are often
called Panthers.
Albinos are rarer than the black variety,
that are found in
Malaysia, Java, and India.

Now for the welcoming.
Welcome to my lair.
Take a look around,
but be cautious,
and watch out for
Leopards on the prowl.
