 Catherine Townsendaka: CathyAge: Same Age as me; 20 (as of 2/83) Sex: Female Occupation: Student and single mother. Known Abnormalities: Genetically Albino, and reflects the characteristics thereof. Known Attributtes: None. Her Iris colour though changes as depending on her emotional state, due to the unstable genetic make up she possesed. The other 2 individuals of the group that possesed this ability is Fernando Gutierrez and Denise Roman., though the colours their Irises reflected for the same emotions was different for each person. Cathy was only 28 days older than Fernando, being born on 1/5, but this slight age difference she tries to use on many occassions of her superiority over him, though only meant as a joke, sometimes that joke would get out of hand. Cathy was also legally blind, not being to see a thing 6 inches beyond her face. But at the same time, she refused to wear her glasses because she considered them ugly. This got her into much trouble and several accidents, of which one occurred in machine shop- despite the safety proceedures she took, she was took close to a drill press, which somehow snagged in a tiny bit of her hair and nearly ripped her scalp off her head. She required 13 stiches to heal from this accident. Years later, Cathy switched over to Contact Lenses. Like Rachel, Cathy was raped several times in her young life, and as such has a very different views and practices when it came to sex and her own sexuality (Very simillar to Rachel's) when compared to others. Like Rachel, Cathy was forced to see a thearpist, but this ended when she started high school in Tech. Even during her later years, Cathy has had a problem with the men in her life trying to be over assertive to her sexually, but Fernando managed to teach her to go beyond her weakness and to fight back. It is believed by many that it is this fighting back that gotten her killed on the night of her disappearence. Before meeting with Fernando, Cathy's only and best friend was Jaunita Gloria Strickland, who she has known since the year years of elementary school. Between them, there is a rumor that Cathy saved Jaunita from being gang raped by sacrificing herself to be raped, allowing Jaunita to run away to safety. The mystery that surrounded Catherine was a prearrenged marriage she had to undergo when she became of age. That age was to be after her graduation from high school. Her husband to be sought and behaved in such a way that Cathy was his property, and not as a partner in life. Because of reasons unknown to them, Catherine and Fernando fell in love with each other in high school, and her husband to be tried to make sure that their relationship were to end at any cost. He failed every step of the way on every attempt he tried. This further forced the relationship that Cathy and Fernando shared to be tighter and more involved. Years later when Cathy and Fernando found each other again, they continued where they left off and were quickly and happily married. This marriage would last about 6 months, when she disappeared and was found dead more than 20 days later. It was Fernando who taught Cathy to fight back, no matter what the outcome, but to also be a stronger person inside. This helped her through many of her personal problems, and ultimately showed the world who the real Cathy was. Cathy had two sisters were were twins: Carol and Corin; and was the mother to James Randal Chislom, son of her first husband. She's known Fernando since his entering Brooklyn Techincal High School in 1978 when he was blind and healing from his other injuries. |
