I did see most of them. I can understand the lip sync claims but i don't know how they could have faked the fireworks. It was at least fun to see the lighting of the Olympic torch and that part was true. _________________ __________________

They didn't "fake" the fireworks, really...
What they did was 'pre-record' the event and edit it to get it perfect.
Anyone who was 'on location' would have seen the real thing, which was probably just as awesome, but what was sent on the air was the canned version.
They did it this way because they didn't think they could 'get it perfect' on the night. This way they got rid of vibrations from the choppers, had the best possible angles, 'just the right amount' of haze and clouds, and all that. Also, no worries about a camera failure in the middle of it all... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Well then i get what is said. While watching i was really wondering how the people in the stadium could see all the fireworks since every inside shot showed mostly the color blast and part of the fireworks. From the outside shots it looked really cool but inside, you could barely see the stuff. _________________ __________________

No according to the news report I saw ABC some of the fireworks in the TV broadcast were indeed CGI. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston
