My buddy keeps asking me why I only watch Animal Planet, History Channel, Discovery and a little of the Sci Fi channel; now I have something to point to in explanation

umm.. Lemme get this straight. The premiss of this show is to see who pukes first? (basicly) And why would I want to watch that?
I think I'll stick to my favs; "Cold Case" and "Law and Order: SVU", thank you very much. Seriously I think brain numbers like spongeboob and tellie tubes would win over the aforementioned show.

yeah... I bet you make ur mommy proud eh? Or maybe the words I'm looking for is you make your mommy cry herself to sleep at night. 
When I audited the spongeboob movie (watched it 13 times in one weekend, man did my brain hurt after that) I noticed that most of the fans of the movie were kids (mostly boys but about 40% girls) ages 6-9 and gay teen boys.
I'm gonna bet that participaters in the aforementioned show will be the "glug a beer then yell to your buddies 'hey watch this' just before a visit to the hospital" type guys and I'm betting that most of the audience will be the same.
I do not fit into any of the above categories so I have no interest in either show.

Yeah, Hurl looks really really stupid. I truly am concerned for the future here. 
And all jokes aside, I am actually a fan of SpongeBob. It has it's share of "fart jokes", but if you really look past that there are many clever jokes and uses of innuendo.
Not to mention, for the tiny budget they are allowed, the show is exceedingly well animated.
Anywho, back to your regularly scheduled topic.

I saw this previewed a few days ago, but didn't feel like talking about it.
Has anybody seen that movie Idiocracy? I bet this is a hint that in 500 years, that will become true. We are making ourselves dumber and dumber every day.

I personally think it was a slip-up. Knowing him (well, as little as I do) he probably meant either crud or meant to type cr@p instead.
Either that or some fur has furnapped our Teric and he is posing as him online now ...
And yeah, I have almost completely give up on television because of too much plain old garbage programming these days. There's not much left that I would let my 7 year old grandson watch.
What has happened to good, quality family programming?
