I like this chapter. It is really funny .
When I first read about the mold I thought about the strip from MBR
and I guess I was right. Dancing
Sabrina Pole dancing? Shocked But after something with a shot in it ( or a couple)you do something like this
and I bet that after some soft pushing from Chris (a dream come true for him and he have his revenge at the same time) that she got into that contest with Zig Zag (hey nothing nude only for fun to wriggle out of the gear and she is spiked Ok one or two more and she do it) I like to see Zig Zags face when Sabrina win this Twisted Evil

Well, I for one knew exactly what a "Paw-heold stick blender" was. We have one. it's great for mixing drinks and shakes and the like. It does make a bit of noise and, well, vibration, so your idea is as good as any as to what Zig will actually use it for.

Well, with her saying to Clarence "how naughty", it's pretty easy to guess Wink

Well, that was the card. Who else but Clarence would've given Zig Zag a Christmas card with her gift? Smile

And no, that didn't sound at all dirty Smile

Not exactly the best place to end a chapter but i understand that the splitting must have been quite hard.

Best place I could think of!

[quote="anthony"]My bet is that Clarence didn't even think about any double entendres or 'alternate' uses...[/qoute]

Oh, heck no. He thought, "What's a good gift for my female boss?" The idea of dirty and suggestive gift-giving simply isn't in his nature.

He's learning! His shell has some good-sized cracks in it, but Clarence is still Clarence, God bless'im Smile

The big question is whether or not I'll ever be able to use my stick-blender again, without thinking of Zig-zag.

LOL! Probably not Twisted Evil

Quote:
(I only use it for making chocolate mousse and similar goodies, though. Would probably do me good not to use it that often in the future... )

Might want to avoid making meringue or mayonnaise for a while Cool

BTW: I think that Darke is waaaay to underexposed as in this or any other story taking place in that studio.

I agree. I have no plans to use Darke Katte, mainly because I know virtually nothing about her other than she's a janitor, she's a Queen Bitch who hates her employer, and has talons that could shred a cinder block. Other than that, I can't figure out how to use her.

BTW, Chris and Racky, What's a moosh?

"He grabbed her paw and yanked her up to him, and planted one on her moosh that made them both have to come up for air."

It happens when they're getting ready to eat breakfast. Did you mean mouth, because otherwise the only thing I can recall making a sound like moosh is when two of Max's characters collide front to front.

And when did Sabrina develop expressible claws?

"Claws were unsheathed, tearing commenced."

Or was that metaphorical that they came out when she opened her gifts?

Inquiring OA'ers want to know!

Well a moosh is a probably British only slag word for mouth.

Only i didn't write that bit....

I think Chris is trying to confuse you readers as to who wrote what lol That fox has to be the most Angloized Yank I know!

And again he wrote that bit about the claws so Hafta wait for his input on that Smile

Although I do remember a picture of Tabitha with HUGE claws going to rip into a present maybe its a send up of that (Sisters are more alike then you know lol)

A moosh is a mouth. That's one of those "Western-Pennsylvania-Only" or probably Pennsylvania-Deutch words that no one else says, like "redd the table" (clean off the table) or "don't go nebbing" (don't go looking around for things).

It's what my mom would say if I had finished an ice cream treat and had the remains around my mouth. "Go wipe your moosh".

Or, from a chapter or two back, a "dutzel cap" (a wool cap with a pom-pom -- the dutzel -- on top).

Wha', me, confuse the readers?? I think you're off your chum, mate! Very Happy

And, well, that's the fun part of having watched British TV shows off and on since the 70's, I get to finally unlearn stuff I've picked up from 'em! Smile

Ohyeah! In fact, in the original Tabitha drafts, her computer of choice was an Amiga. In fact, until James pooh-pooh'd the idea, Amiga was going to be THE computer in 2030, with IBM PC's and Mac having gone under to it Cool

Are you certain that shouldn't be "Rydd", not "Redd"?
(Norwegian for "Clean the table" is "Rydd bordet" )

Nebbing?

"Ikkje vær nebbete" can be translated as "Don't be a smartass/nitpicker"
("Nebb" = "beak" in Norwegian)

Could be similar. Pennsylvania Deutsch (mispronounced "Dutch" by almost everyone) is a mish-mash of different languages including German and Yiddish, there's one or two others thrown in for good measure, and one of those could've been Norwegian or Scandinavian. That's one of those words who's roots may be lost to obscurity.

That could well be from the same root language. A person who pries into someone else's business is a "nebb-nose", so that makes sense.

Someone who is a nebb-nose is accused of being "nebby".

We also have another magical word here, "yunz". Down south you'd say "y'all" and in eastern New York/Jersey you'd say "yous". Yunz is another Pennsylavnia-Deutsch word derived from "you ones", meaning "you people".

So someone in Pittsburgh is looking into something that doesn't concern him, we'll say, "Hey, yunz quit bein' nebby, n'at." Smile

I think the point was that skunks have fixed claws (they're actually more like their fingers than they are like traditional claws), not retractable claws like a cat.

Hence the "unsheathed" couldn't be true in the literal sense.

Zig, on the other hand, does have retractable claws, courtesy of her tiger grandfather.
