Posted: Thu Jun 12, 2008 9:03 am Post subject: Alternate Movie Titles Game |
|
|
I decided to make a fun movie titles thread that isn't exactly like Stix game but his did inspire this. Basically the rules are as follows. You pick between two to five short descriptive sentences that describe the movie in question. You must only pick movies that have been in theaters on the silver screen. No made for TV movies. When making a guess about the movie it must be an exact title. No incomplete guesses or it wont count and may be stolen by the next person. When your posting your sentences and no correct guesses have been made then you may post a couple of hint about the movie that doesn't give it away directly, one hint per post for up to two hints total Then on the third you have to post the title of the movie you are describing and come up with another movie post. Each person guessing may only guess once per first sentences post and once per subsequent hint. You may also post one more short sentence, in addition to those in your first sentences post if you wish.
*IMPORTANT* Those guessing must wait for confirmation of their guess before posting their own three sentences. You may not post any sentences before then. If there are multiples of the same guess then it goes on a first to post basis.
With the rules now set in place heres my first three sentences. (We'll start with a very easy one just to get the ball rolling.) :
Marooned Marauders steal space ship.
New planet in only six minutes.
Moby Dick In Space. _________________ Asalis: (uh*sah*lis)

I stand corrected. The "Moby Dick" comment threw me off, but you are spot-on. _________________ Oddly enough, my life is based on a true story. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

Those are pretty good Hikaru, The second one especially made me chuckle. Since its only been a couple of turns I'll hold off on posting my guess and let someone else have it. Also i refined the rules on the first post to add a little bit more clarity. _________________ Asalis: (uh*sah*lis)
