Filly, since I have your address (at least I hope I do, I had it before my old computer crashed), I was planning to send it to you, with sufficient funds for you to forward it to Niki (while I knew she is in England, I don't have her address, nor have I ever contacted her), and for her to return it to me.
The problem is how do I send the funds (US$ or ???) and how much. I was planning to send three times what it cost me to ship it to you, to be certain I'd sent enough. The customs forms will certainly be another hassle. (Thanks for the heads up, Mike.) I would try to set it up so the packaging would be re-usable.
If more furs like this idea, we could probably save some costs by making one shipment instead of several. Which is why I asked Mike for comments.

That sounds good, Mike. Although I was hoping for a personalised autograph from each of them, instead of an "autographed copy". That's the main reason I was planning the two stop trip for the book, rather than two round trips. Perhaps you could do it the same way? Ship to Aslaug, with a label for her to then ship to Niki, and a return label for Niki to use? Let me know what the additional cost is, please. I do know it won't be cheap. I am willing to bear the cost (for my copy), even if I am the only one willing to do so.
I hope there's no VAT. In Denmark and Great Britain both, that runs about 25%, the last I heard.
There is also a very valid reason that 'politics' is the filthiest profanity in my vocabulary, and 'politician' is the foulest insult I can render.

Exactly. Let me know what it costs. I'll raid the piggy bank, I do want a personalized copy myself. The cost is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, but I will need to know, at least approximately, so I can budget it. As far as getting the funds to them, I'm perfectly willing to stuff $20 (or whatever) inside the front cover, if they can accept US$. Or whatever will work. Like I said, Mike, just let me know.

Kel, I'm 7'6" and weigh almost 500#. You can do a happy dance a lot better than I can.
