Wow!
Well well, Aslaug. You're story blew everybody away so badly that nobody can comment!
I knew it was a good one!

It's okay Kellan. I don't think a lot of people actually read these mini-stories of mine. I don't mind...these are the ones I write -entirely- for my own benefit. Usually because they give me a chance to rant. |

woa. That's heavy.
Hehe I see you took the liberty of promoting the Shieldmaiden. It will be very interesting to see what happens if she continues along that vein. So what does that mean now? Is she an agent of Valhalla now? _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

Well, it sets her up for a future as 'Coach Larsen' at least
She's not so much an agent of anything anymore as a lone valkyrie trying to make a difference for just a few individuals along the way.
You'll see... |

Yeah, now that you mention it-
Being a Valkyrie is a nice 'upgrade' over agent.
I'm sure that this will have a lot of bearing on her next story.
Have a nice weekend, all!

Very good short story Aslaug. I do see very strong resemblance with Aslaug the Angledestroyer and the future coach Larsen. I do think that with this small story could play into the roll of your main story, besides, what other place to keep something so significantly important than be hidden in plain sight. |

Got the story read over the weekend.
Good story, good plot, good writing, great plot twist, all the things we expect from the Filly, and she delivered once again.
Fascinating read, Aslaug. I do expect this will roll over into some of your other stories, especially ALN. I look forward to reading more.

In Nordic god's, goddesses and mythology, I believe that the name title would be acute for ones own actions. |

*grins* I think he meant it as a comment on 'angle' as opposed to 'angel'. But in any case, the nomme du guerre she got for herself was 'Angelbreaker'.
Still appreciated though |

I think a few of you Aslaug-fans might want to take a look at Cirrel's impression of her. I sat there dumbstruck when he showed this to me. The detail work is amazing and she has been presented absolutely perfectly.

Hot dang, Cirrel!
His understanding of anatomy is fantastic. Excellent work! Nice touch with the scar across her face. I found myself looking for a scar around her forearm, but I guess that wasn't to be. _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

WOW! There's nothing else to say.
Except: I don' ever want that expression pointed at me, especially when she has her axe.

Now that captures the filly perfectly!
That is an excellent drawing by Cirrel. Nicely done in his very distinctive style.
Now if I can get him to do one of the immortal couple...
Happy New Year, by the way.
