Sounds like you got an ADWARE and/or SPYWARE Worm on your system, I had 38 (no joke) before there annoying and they hack your system (the REALLY bad ones steal loads of info.). Best goto http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=ad&tg=dl-2001 and dowload AD-AWARE 5.83, its freeware and can get rid of annoying stuff like that (plus others). And if all else fails try sending a blank message to each email you recieve with 'Remove' or 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line and the main text. This usually does the job. |

I think yours Mike, might be different. Are you using an online account (ie hotmail) or a offline (ie Outbox) account? Cas sometimes when your on an offline account when you delete an email it's best to clean your drive where it came (like if it came from 'C:' then you'll have to do a 'disk cleanup' and/or create a useless file (ie txt file) send it to recycling bin and delete it completely, this will purge the recycling bin of previous contents (sometimes in Win95/8, files and emails reappear even though you deleted them, it does it to me loads. I think it stores them in memory for some reason, so if you made a mistake you can get retrievers to un-delete a file, which do exist). |
