Filly, I have one word of advice.
Personal Laser Printer.
Well, all right, it was three words...
You get a decent printer for silly money these days, and they're cheap to run, too.
(Or Transitions I & II would have been my transition into poverty... ) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

I cant even imagine how much work and how hectic that was for you. I just about went crazy with a seven page physics report and slide show visual, to pass my physics class for my degree. And I didnt even have to research it too much. Jet propulsion is so easy as a concept...
Two weeks for a break? I think you deserve a month! _________________ "I'm not sure yet, but it'll involve a bucket of sour cream, three carrots, an architect lamp and a lump hammer. Possibly a fish." -Jean LeBrun, Transitions Chapter 22
You have to admit, that is funny....and puts soooo many pictures in your head. |

I have had two months, Shadowjaguar. A two month break and I'm going insane from nerves. I want to get it done and over with.
Tomorrow is the day... |

Well, I've hugged you twice already this morning, so, as they say, third time's the charm!
*HUGS THE FILLY*
Now, go forth, shieldmaiden, and defend that paper with words sharp as axes!
Rooting for you
(By the way, Karou, Aslaug and I have an in joke. It's not "silly filly"....it's "Seellee Feellee", in honour of a certain maned wolf we all know and love ) _________________ A quote from my mother: "You know, over the past few years, you've -really- developed a prickly exterior..." |

I'm done. I've just come out of there.
I have my grade.
I scored 10. The second highest grade. They did specify that there were certain serious problems that needed correcting (and may I add, their criticism is entirely justified) but they couldn't bring themselves to give me a 7 which is the next grade down the line...since the research and narrative was just too good. So...I am now officially a historian. I have my master's thesis...and I have a meeting coming up in December with my supervisor, about ideas for a PhD application.
I did it. I completed it. And I'm damned well crying my eyes out in relief...

I'll buy you that drink, dear. Congratulations.
Do I have to refer to one as educated as you by any special title, or is "Filly" still acceptable?
<thinks, then raises shot glass in a toast> Whatever. Here's to you, Filly!

Does this mean we have to call you Mistress now?
Oh, and you should have brought an axe with you. It's such a nice tool to cut an argument short... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"
