Cool. I liked it muchly.
Sarah's boss didn't, by any chance, work for Ryobi Motor Products in Pickens, SC for a time in the early 1990's, did he? He sounds AWFULLY familiar.
Good introduction. Good setup. Looks like many/most of the early cast is in place. Looking forward to following this one.
And, btw, what does the story title mean? I'm drawing a blank. _________________ Oddly enough, my life is based on a true story. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

I'm not telling until Act 1 (probably Chapter 5). It is the acronym of the full story title however. I took a rather familiar phrase (possibly the title of some book) and changed it a little bit. You'll have to either guess it or wait. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Ah, too bad. I was about to ask that too
Anyway, I agree with Concolor. Excellent chapter. Reads very well and makes a nice introduction for your story.
I won't say anything about the contents yet (let's wait till more furs have read it) but this certain detail about Sabrina... quite a surprise
Great work, Nameless. I hope you don't take as long as I do untill your next chapter comes out _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

If all goes well, the second chapter will be posted next weekend.
I'm currently a bit busy working on another story, so that slows this one down a bit. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Just got the chapter back from my editor. Hey, that's me as well.
Well anyway, I decided more tinkering with it would not really improve it, so it has been posted. Have fun... _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Ah, I was looking forward to this.
Let's see...
... *blinks* ... *blinks again* ... *snickers* ... *chuckles* ... *snorts* ... *bursts into a hearty laughter*
This, my nameless friend, is great! Excellent work.
Let's go into the details later. We don't want to take the other read's fun away, do we? _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Ok, chapter 3 has been posted. Have fun.
No cameo appearances, but two references to other stories. Should not be too difficult to spot them.
A little speculation would also be welcome (so that I know how to better mislead you in the future...) _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Okay, there's only one direction this relationship between Sarah and George can go, with his reactions.
Let's put it this way - if Sarah doesn't get out of that relationship, then I hope Zig Zag pays for a really nice headstone, since her husband will be in prison for murder, and unable to buy one.
I'm sitting here clenching and unclenching my fists, because I seriously want to kill that sonovabitch...
*deep breath*
Okay - well, not okay, but at least I'm not chewing on the keyboard...

resisting urge to beat George senseless....failing saving throw...
Die, George, Die!!!!
Ok, I must admit it publicly. I had not read this until this evening. Very nicely done Nameless.
You are "filling" in the ZZ Studio characters (Blue, step away from the eclairs. Not that kind of filling) nicely!
I do want George to go take a flying leap.
And the title bothers me. but I will wait til Chapter 5.

The problem with George will escallate until Sarah is hurt, injured, or killed. It's a shame too, since she really enjoys the whole film industry process. Something/someone has to give.
What about that section at the end with the creepy hooded one???

Since nobody commented on them, has anybody spotted the two (slightly hidden) references to other stories / characters in this chapter ?
And did the movie titles give anybody an idea what they are about (apart from the obvious) ? _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Sorry for not saying anything earlier. I was... preoccupied.
Anyway, a very interesting chapter. It's kinda sa to see how Sarah's marriage is slowly but surely going down the drain, if you pardon the hard expression. However, I would be lying if I'd say that I didn't expect such a thing to happen.
I wonder how it will end. In an explosion or silently. Or who knows, maybe everything will get right between Sarah and George. I'm looking forward to read it.
Writing wise I think it's very good. Flows well and easy to read.
Great work!
Regarding the story references, I think the more obvious one is at then end. My guess is that somebody is doing a time travel experiment there that goes wrong because of the Bruner Effect. So that would be a reference to "Tabitha"
The other one might be Sarah's talk with Zig Zag about how her husband takes her working at ZZ Studios. The reference would be to the part of "Zig Zag" where Zig and James talk about Zig's acting (BTW: has anybody else noticed that Zig is talking about her own husband there?
Regarding the movie titles, I can't remember them now and have to look them up again _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

I had not thought about this as such, but I guess that makes it three story references...
And the one about the Bruner Effect is correct. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |
