| Meesa confused! There's nothing wrong with my van for once! Well, outside of the threat of repossession after the end of the month from lack of money which is dismissing our bankruptcy, but it's running okay |

Not really, no. Nice of you to ask, thanks for that ...
No one's called me yet on anything I've sent out. Go2IT had most of their work for August on the other side of Pennsylvania, and the one job I *did* sign up for to run last Tuesday was canceled (well, postponed) without anyone telling me. I spoke to my recruiter last evening, she'd sent me the list for September but it never arrived, and as we speak hasn't yet. OnForce didn't approve my application on a stupid technicality, which I fixed and resubmitted and now am playing the Waiting Game yet again with them.
Our bankruptcy was dismissed on August 27th. Legal Helpers never returned my phone call when I called them the week before for an appointment to refile, so if anyone's looking to file bankruptcy, they're in all major cities, look elsewhere, they suck. We saw a local attorney yesterday and sadly he won't be able to help us until I'm in a better financial position, read "employed".
We're not going to lose the house immediately, that sort of thing (thankfully) takes time. The van, though, they can repossess that at any time, then I'm REALLY up the creek, no oar, huge hole in the bottom, and no lifejacket.
Both phones, VoIP and cellular, are in imminent danger of being turned off, and if that happens, I can't communicate with potential employers. I lose VoIP and I lose the Internet as well, and my way to communicate with Go2IT and OnForce. I lose the cell, I lose my business line. In short, I'm hosed.

It's a waiting game now ... the only proactive things I can do are A> Promote my own business harder (which isn't easy when you can't buy gas) and 2> Make more contacts for work (which I've been doin'), and III> Keep the van the heck out of the eyes of Wells Fargo! |
