Hia, yeah, as you can see, i am having slight avitar problems. See, in other forums, i have been always abile to re-size it, but in this one, to even use an image, it must be the actuall size of the end result, and also once i found one that would work, i can re-size it after either. So i was just wondering, is this just plain old how it works, or is there some way around this?

Would love the help, TY.

If you're looking for an option where the system allows you to manually resize your avatar, I'm afraid our board doesn't offer that. There may be an extension somewhere, but as of now, we don't have it implemented. Sorry!

Most decent image-manipulation programs allow you to resize an image without too much quality loss. I reccomend The GIMP, or GNU Image Manipulation Program. It's like Photoshop, but free. To resize an image in it, choose "Image=>Scale Image" and input the number of pixels to a side. For this board, the reccomendation is 120x120 pixels.

Sorry if it seems like I'm pushing a particular program; I use The GIMP, and it works. I'm in no way affiliated with The GIMP.
