Well, here I am, sitting here at 0 dark hundred hours, awaiting a taxi to take me to the train station. From there, I'll be travelling to Gatwick Airport, and I should, with good luck and good connections, arrive on a certain filly's doorstep by dinnertime tonight I will, of course, be passing on many hugs from many people, and I'll make sure to throw a few in from you guys too while I'm at it!
And Joan, if you read this before I get there, I remembered the pudding, but I couldn't fit the card in my case. *nods* _________________ A quote from my mother: "You know, over the past few years, you've -really- developed a prickly exterior..." |

Have fun visiting, Val, and pass a generous-sized hug from me on to our favorite Filly, too!

Oh I shall. Right now, actually. *hugs filly* There. And tee hee... this is the hedgehog, not, as you might think, her ladyship of the hoof. |

And here we go again. Tonight, Valaina is returning to Denmark for the holidays. This time, she's bringing the kids too, so we'll have ten days of absolute, pure, raw 'hygge'. And to those who don't know what 'hygge' means, you're missing out on something...
Best translation is the ultimate degree of coziness.
I can't wait. This is gonna be -so- cool!!
Wee! |

Vala and her kids are on their way home to England as I write this. We've had some -amazing- days. Full of wonderful experiences...and my home feels so strangely empty and quiet now. I'll get used to this again quickly enough but...right now it's a -very- strange feeling.
I wish you all a happy new year, by the way...and I hope to see you all still on this forum in 2008. |

A happy new year to you too, and...
You'd probably have to use beartraps, snakepits, tripwires and probably a loaded Skunky to keep us away...

Just dropped by to wish you a Very Happy New Year!
You couldn't keep me away from the forum-I enjoy reading and occasionally commenting on your fine, inspired writings.

A belated Happy Yule, and a very Happy New Year, Filly!
Even a loaded and primed Skunky trap won't keep me away. (I'm half wolverine, and while I can't spray as far as a skunk, believe me when I tell you that it stinks worse!)
I'm here for the long run, reading your stories (and re-reading) and your rants and raves on your website. I enjoy them all, even if I don't always agree. I hope you keep writing for decades to come.

Loaded skunk? I;ve got a Haz-Mat suit in my closet. ^^
No way you're keeping me away. Happy New Year all! _________________ "I'm not sure yet, but it'll involve a bucket of sour cream, three carrots, an architect lamp and a lump hammer. Possibly a fish." -Jean LeBrun, Transitions Chapter 22
