Maybe you should ask Trekkie for his webcomic-downloader.
It's quite useful, and it works, as far as I tried (but my internet connection is too slow to use it really).

Heh, its still only a beta version, I guess I can release it now though.
I made this, because it was kind of hard to keep up with all of the webcomics that I visit. I never actualy intended for anybody other than myself to use it, so the code is still kind of messy. However, it does work.
I am still adding webcomics to my auto downloader.
It requires perl, and can run on windows and linux.
Activestate Perl
To run, you just click on auto-update.pl, to grab indavidual web commics, go to the webcomic folder you want, and click on grabber.pl
There are no viruses in these scripts(you can check for your self), and I am releasing it under GPL.
EDIT: Bah, forgot to remove some of the ~ files. I used kwrite to write the scripts, and it saves a backup of the current file with a ~ at the end of it. I tried to delete them all, but it seems I forgot a few. Please ignore files with ~ at the end of them. |
