Spent most of the afternoon and evening (with a couple of breaks) trying to write the next chapter. Nothing worked. Characters wouldn't cooperate, couldn't get/keep 'em IN character, plot refused to go anywhere NEAR the direction I wanted and I think I started over at least a dozen times.
I'm gonna go to sleep and try this another time. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

what you should do is sit down at your computer, put some music on, and just let your mind drift on the subject. It works too, I do it all the time....course im just a lazy ass but its still in the same theory. :p
P.S. works better if its like rock or anything like that in my opinion. _________________ Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities. Truth isn't |

Yeah, like I'm gonna find one of them running around here.
NaNoWriMo is coming up. I may try to do that again. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

as long as it gets the creative 'juices' flowing, then its all good
My suggestion would be stop trying to just write it as it goes along, but plot out a lot of stuff in advance... then write it.
doesn't have to be detailed, just cues or concept-suggestions...
example:
- expo on hero backgroun
- conflict initation (bad guy expo?)
- travel to far far away (random encounter)
- stuff...
that kinda thing
meh, as long as we'll eventually get IC back again. Ever considered outsourcing? _________________ My Deviant artpile

Well, there are actually some of us that try to avoid football (or most spectator sports for that matter ). _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

I noticed that he sent the next chapter to the editiors two days ago, so hoipefully it'll be up fairly soon. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.
