My main machine (XP Pro) has been becoming unstable over the last month or so. Last week I got frustrated with the fact that it kept crashing every couple of hours, more often if I had word open.

So I spent last weekend installing a new 300G SATA drive so I could re-arrange things. Freed up my primary PATA drive (my primary SATA drive had been the boot device) and installed XP on it. Spent the weekend patching and loading software, then re-patching and etc. Finally, as of today, it's about 95% completed. Word is functioning flawlessly and I'm happy as a clam about it.

I intend (sighs) to try and do some writing. I've been spending time re-reading Act IV and looking over old fan art for inspiration, which has helped. Let's not mention that I'm back in the black as far as cash flow and that's WITHOUT any roomie to help with rent. To top it off, I'm getting a new roomie (again) at the end of the month, only I know this one. She likes to cook and clean, so life will be VERY good for the bear.

Look out for something from me this weekend, even if it's just a little fictionlette posted here in the forum.
