Things are moving a bit more here.
I just sent Asalis the edits for Kitten Caboodle chapter 7.
So it may be ready for this next weekend.
I have the Prologue of a new story from Tobi but he is going to be over here at FC this week. Doubtful it will be ready this time. Wish I was going to FC this year so we could meet.
I have also been contacted by a new Dutch author to the shelf. This story has about 21 chapters complete. Only real trouble with it is the use of some jargon. You know the type of stuff, everyone around you understands it but others don't have a clue. I have only read through chapter 1 but things are looking good. If he wants it posted on the Bookshelf that is.
Work continues on the books being done for print as well. _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"

Just a note that editing and posting may be a bit slow the next week or two.
It's the dreaded tax time so I will be concentrating on getting that all figured out.
Here's hoping it all comes together easily and I won't have to delay anything. _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"

Well, sorry but there will be no updates this week either.
It's Thurs. night and I would have to have gotten edits back by now to be able to get everything done by posting time tomorrow night.
So two weeks in a row now. _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"

Started a second story because I hit a block on my first.

Sorry I haven't been sending any stories either. Boss has really been riding my behind. Apparently I'm not working to his satisfaction so he's doing anything and everything to make me quit. Until he lets up (and stops changing my schedule on a whim) I might not be able to get anything out for a while. I'm sorry. _________________ Asalis: (uh*sah*lis)

Ditto, I'm afraid. Work on Isotopia has dictated that I write physical descriptions of each city Block, and that is taking a while. Ten down, ninety-two to go. So, no Gone Wylde updates in the near future.
We should have the first draft of Book One done and shipped off to the publisher late next week, approximately a month early. This is looking better and better. _________________ Oddly enough, my life is based on a true story. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

I've been very busy here recently and my writing time has suffered. To all of my fans, I apologize. I took a couple of weeks for post theatre decompression and i managed to do a lot of healing (A lot left to cope and live with yet though.)
12 is a few pages in and I will get it to you Mike as soon as i can. _________________ "Liven a dream, Oh you're on top. My mind is aching, oh it won't stop. That's how it happens, living life by the drop."- Life by the drop. Stevie ray Vaughan. |

I have been developing some hard drive troubles.
I run a registry cleaner about once a week.
Lately it has not been able to fully clean and fix things. Each time I run it a few more things will remain. So I have set up a new hard drive. But having to install and configure all the software on it is taking loads of time.
Most of the heavily used stuff is now on and seems to be working but there is a bunch more to go.
Fun --- NOT! _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"

Luckily, I have back-ups of everything of mine if you loose it. _________________ "Liven a dream, Oh you're on top. My mind is aching, oh it won't stop. That's how it happens, living life by the drop."- Life by the drop. Stevie ray Vaughan. |

No problem there.
The main comp in use for stories is not that one. The main story comp. auto backs up to an external drive each time I save and keeps up to 5 revisions. Add to that the files on 4 different servers and a copy of all site files on the comp I am putting the new hard drive on.
That makes 6 copies of the DOC, RTF, ODT etc files and 10 of the PDFs.
The PITA is reinstalling all the programs. _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"

Posting from my cell phone while my laptop is busy moving files. With the number I have here it takes a LONG time. Most of the software is restored but I still need to do my FTP and Dreamweaver. MS Office, Open Office and Acrobat are done so I can work with the files and prepare them. Now for the stuff to get them to the sites by Saturday. _________________ "Who was that masked librarian?"
