I for one have never doubted Aslaug's provess, or the intimidation factor of that axe.
Of course, being veaned on the old norse sagas may have helped, too.
(I was a book-worm from an early age, and some of those books had illustrations... ) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Well, I read the last part of ALN, and I must say, it was a fight to the finish. I suspected the filly would be in ribbons, too.
Good story, all.
*bows to the foursome*

Did I miss an installment, or is this just delayed comments? Guess I'll have to go take another look.
EDIT: Yes, looks like I missed a couple installments while enthralled in reading Wheel of Time books 1 through 9

Wheel of Time?
Bored out of time, I'd rather call that series...
Gave it up about a third through book 6(I think).
Then it became obvious that the author had let a lot of important stuff happen 'between books' and that the book itself was mostly 'filler'.
Thank goodness for authors that take their readers seriously. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Robert Jordan isn't likely to drag out the story any more. Since his death, book 12 has been finished from his notes and is to be released in autumn '09.
Let's hope our filly has a long and healthy life to keep us reading for decades to come. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

You have to be joking, filly!
You and I both know they will be back for more! Your writings are just too inspired to be ignored or otherwise.
Waiting patiently *wink*

Well, my sixth birthday is coming up and I am currently working on a bit of a surprise for you all. Instead of just posting two chapters as I usually do that day (or rather, as I get someone to do FOR me), I will be posting one chapter and what I am working on at the moment
Muaahahah. |

Well, the story for my sixth birthday has been written and proofread and I think you'll all like it a lot.
But right now, I'm working on a new one-shot. It's written in a style only a few of you (my proofers to be exact) have ever seen me write in before. I don't know exactly when it'll be posted. It may be before my birthday, it may be after ... but I'll tell you, I'm two pages into it and I can barely read what I'm typing for tears. I've never written anything this sad before, and I've written some pretty sad stuff!
Several AVC-chapters spring to mind.
But this is awful to write. But I want to do it. I hope you'll all read it when it's posted and I hope you'll ... comment on it.
I'm calling it 'Till next time'. |

There's a one-shot with a certain axe-wielding filly on its way. First in over a year, so I guess I needed the break as much as she did |

Well, I say one-shot but it's really meant to be the first of several one-shots ... |
