We had a topic about this a while ago but that was QUITE a while ago so I'll make a new one.
Dawn of War. Awesome real time strategy game and not only for Warhammer 40K players. I know at least one who likes it but doesn't play Warhammer at all. Well, two actually. And I finally got the Winter Assault add-on which makes the game even better!
Anyway, I suck at RTS which is why I normally do not play online but hey, I like this game enough to give it a try so if anyone wants to have a 'meeting' on the battlefield, post here. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Ive got DoW, no winter assault yet. Ill play wit you, ill just have to get patches n stuffs.
I like the system they use mostly. Seems balanced towards the computers tough Stupid omnipresence. _________________ "Don't let morals get in the way of doing the right thing." -Isaac Asimov |

Not at all. Just set the victory terms to Annihilation or Destroy HQ (depending on which version you have). The computer will keep trying to get critical points and stuff and barely attack you at all, meaning you can mass up and army without being bothered too much and just overwhelm the computer. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

I agree, Tyranids would be cool, though I wouldn't mind seeing the Tau, they be more interesting with their codex updated. _________________ World Dictator...in 2015

They should be. With the 4th edition quite a few flaws in the Tau mechanics opened up, most notably the drones which are pretty much useless now.
However, I fear the next update for Dawn of War will contain the Necrons, since they had a cameo in Winter Assault. Of course, we might get them to add another race.
We will see. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

what is like using that one move that works in fighting games over and over again.
Plus, if I get beat by a game 20 times I will have stopped playing it 10 times before.
And plus that, I don't play RTS games to take and hold something. I play them to blow stuff up, preferbly the enemy. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Though I'd like to see a 40K RTS on more of the BFG side of the story, tyranid ships ripping apart other ships would be most lovely to watch _________________ World Dictator...in 2015

How very true! I would love a game like that. Seeing my BFG fleets on the screen would be great _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Even better if it has micro management, choosing what fighters to be stationed on your carriers, what armanments on your cruisers, to the weaponry your boarding parties have and the troop type. Think homeworld but more micro. I love micro management. _________________ World Dictator...in 2015

Erf... no, thanks. For me too much micromanagement really ruins a game. Starcraft and Warcraft are VERY close to the border for me. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species
