It's by a British synthpop duo who have been around since the 80s, and the keyboardist was originally from Depeche Mode.

I second the motion. Apparently no one here has any idea what the answer is. I think it's time to give the answer and another lyric for us to figure out.

(Actually I googled the lyric, which I consider cheating and thus disqualified myself from answering. This was some weeks ago and I don't even remember anymore what the title/artist was, but I do remember that it wasn't a song I was familiar with.)

Hmmm, well, after some of the recent ranting about lyrics being too hard, I thought I'd picked an easier song that someone or their pet would know the answer two and would have a fun day choosing the next lyric. Come on, if you know it, raise your paw.
