True but that is not really difficult. Aside two scenes the entire movie was aweful. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

I loved Secret Of Mana. Ever play Secret of Evermore?
Anyway, My sister has to say the following about SOM, This is NOT coming from me!
Here is her opinion, (as typed by her)
There is three problems with Secret of Mana, they are the following:
1. Your grand ememies of evil consist of giant green kitty cats, pink bunny bubbles of doom and adorable red crabs that chant evil spells consisting of the terrible 'Bubble'.
2. The music sounds more like a nightmarish never-ending circus.
3. The characters are fundementally boring, have the personality of an atari game, and look like almost every RPG character and anime charater in history.
Back to me now,
as you can see, sarcasm runs in my family. _________________ AKA Skoon

That happens when you port most of your enemies directly from a Final Fantasy game (Can't remember which one, I think 5).
I like Secret of Mana a lot, mostly because it isn't actually an 'RPG' (And I still don't like to allow ANY PC/console game to take on that titles with the exception of text based online RPGs) but more of an adventure game like Legend of Zelda.
I actually played through it although that is not much of a challenge since the German version was delivered with a detailed walkthrough. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Well, none of the bosses but many of the monsters you meet along the way.

Yeah. I guess they didn't gave us enough credit to play through the complicated games on our own. We got Secret of Mana, Final Fatasy 5 (again, I think it was 5. They sold it under the name Mystic Quest over here) and Super Metroid delivered with guides. I think Secret of Evermore as well but I'm not sure. Never got that one. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

.. the first star ocean...through the wonders of the internet i finally got ahold of the first in the series i enjoy quiet a bit...shame it was never released outside of japan, it was a beutiful game, beutifully drawn graphics and sprites, the music is...something else. heh, and it amuses me as one of the few snes games with good voice overs :p with multiple endings and the ability to make your party up in different ways each time you play it.. it deffinetly makes for some replay value too... not to mention its a fun fast paced role playing game that was different than any other made at the time. _________________ No touchy! |

Hmmm... A German company called BlueByte (they are gone now) once made an RPG called Albion, which featured a race of cat-like aliens. As few of these joined your group so I guess this would count.
Oh dear! I completely forgot one of the most definite furry games ever made! Inherit the Earth! It's at adventure game like Maniac Mansion, Zak McCracken, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and the legendary Monkey Islan series (you know, the games LucasArts used to be so damn great at) and it features ONLY furry characters. I wrote a detailed review of it which you can read yourse here. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species
