Well hello there, this is my first system related announcement, i met up with whiplash and we accorded on telling the newcommers a bit of bad news... you see, on the weekend PF´s ISP got struck by electric disturbances, and in the end managed to somewhat screw up the software used for managing accounts... there´s no need to panic furry amigos, you all can access your accounts normally, but, we cannot create new accounts for the time being, and it is being taken care of by Whiplash as we speak, yeah, he´s taking care of our PF 24/7, so, just be patient and we´ll notify you ASAP about the new PF family members, forums and site space.
well, i hope i didn´t screw up and back to your scheduled forum´ing
If you should come up with questions, comments or other kinds of text, please let us know, we´ll gladly help you in every way we can.
Sincerelly,
El Maxx!!

I, too, had local network problems all weekend. Which reminds me, PlanetFurry is based out of North Carolina, quiaff? Have to love this part of the country. 95 degrees, 91% humidity for months on end, no rain...
...and then the last five days happen. Go figure. _________________ (00:40:05) nbz: you win at the motherf***ing internet O_O |

The issue with the backend of Planetfurry's services has been resolved. We can accept new members again.
Thank you for your patience. |

So...this might sound like a stupid question, but how *does* one sign up for website space? < I came here through a link and the BBS is the only thing here (main page redirects).

Well, this site is one big huge forum, Whip-lash (webmaster/sith lord) hasnt done any work on the main site, probably saving it for a later date. Anyway if you want space it isnt as easy as signing up you will need to be good at a certain thing, writing, drawing or similar. |

Basically you have to mail Whip and ask for it.
Prefurably only if you have something nice (or not so nice ) and furry-related to post as well.
And maybe register an account as well. It does not cost all that much...

Hee, well, I do indeed have furry-related stuff to post. And it's nice...or not nice, depending on your perspective.
And as for registering, I tried to, but I got a message along the lines of "Your account is currently inactive" and so...uh...yeah.

Did you receive the mail and click on the link in it?
This is needed to activate the account. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

It looks like there is a bug somewhere in the registration code, so I'll be working on that as well as a few other things this weekend, now that I have the time. |
