Ah yes, Fox Die. I remember it well. Yes, it would be suitable. the name would have to be changed, though. ^.~ I doubt many foxes would appreciate that name.

I can think of a couple of Snakes that weren't exactly fond of the idea. The Ocelot didn't seem to mind it, tho.

about biological armageddon, what about a binary poison?

First part of poison is spread via water supply. everyone gets it.

2nd part is doled out via contaminated foodstuffs. Only certain furs would receive it.

end result? Only those with the foodstuffs die...

neat!

Now think of the poison...

There actually is one.

Fish, being far too clever for his own good.

*chuckles as he watches the feds knock on Fishy's door*

"You've made some powerful enemies, son."

So, a binary poison? But why use it to affect furs?

Bah! Now I sound like a militant fur. I'll enjoy having these idiotic humans around for a litte while longer.

heavy weapons are too inelegant. lets keep with the fantasy and work the ideas of fantastical solutions. We have some neat ideas, specifically in the last dozen or so posts in the brunner effect forum. lets discuss some of the alternative energy ideas, and the possible repercussions of the evil uses for them! Twisted Evil

By the way, Binary bio weapons are for real.

Define 'alternate energy'.

One other way to erase all life on a planet, not to completely destroy it though, I could think of would be a binary chemical. One is released into a planet's atmosphere and combines with it. When the seconds is added it will cause the first to burn away, setting the entire surface of the planet on fire. Only life in oceans could survive.

To make a short trip back to biological weapons, my favorite one is the Bioterminator from MOO2. They never explained how it worked but for myself I figured that it's a swarm of microorganisms that 'invade' a body's immune system and force it to fight the body itself. Sounds nice, doesn't it? Twisted Evil

Of course, this isn't a genetic selective weapon.

lets see, how about a Virus thats released in a gas and infects anything that breaths it in. Once it's in the body it starts killing healthy cells and as the cells are dying they give off a little puff of the gas infecting other organisms near by.

I was thinking along the lines of something genetically selective. SOmething that won't kill furs.

There is another possibility there.

Hey Fish! Remember Wing Commander 4? They had a genetic selective nanite weapon there.

Imagine billions of microscopic robots in the atmosphere, entering lifeforms, analysing their DNA and if it's human: DESTROY!
Once all humans are dead the nanites would gather somewhere and shut down. Then even could process the humans bodies before so we wouldn't have to deal with 6 billon rotting carcasses.

I would be to hard to make a Virus that killed just humans, because once the humans are dead there won't be anything to feed on so it would just mutate and infect another animal.

I like Tygon's idea. Can it be done?

well humans can do it IN TIME, but I don't know why they would want to kill themselves. Besides what would power these Microscopic robots, and they could be Shut down using a simple EMP. Wink

It gives me kind of an idea for another story, if some aspiring writer wishes to pick it up. I won't go into it on this thread though.
