My guess would be there was some data loss and either the entire site or just the index file has been deleted or damaged. When that file is not available your are re-directly to that admin page.

That's just my guess so. Whip should be able to tell for sure.

Looking at the site using Wayback Machine (internet archive), I looked at the url for a couple of pages on his site and found that they also aren't present, so it looks like it's a total site loss, not just a missing index.html file.

Hmmmm....not quite the same subject, but without a doubt the same topic name.

Chris hasn't updated since July 2. That's going to be four months very soon. As a pilot, I know that life can get hectic, but at least keep up us updated every once in a while.

Everytime I visit the site and see Last Update: July 2, 2006 I lose a little bit more hope of seeing a new chapter.

Please don't let this go the way of Wild Horses.(Cowboy Bebop fanfic site for those who don't know.) I was so wrapped up in the Prelude and After the Nova stories. Then one day they just went dead. No ending, no explanation. Just gone.

Even the boards have come a screeching halt.

Last post 9-11-06?

I'm going to have to start asking Racky for info on the new chapter.

I dont know why he hasnt posted any updates on the site BUT once agaim it IS life...

i was talking to him yesterday and he is always saying how awful he feels for the fans not getting news.

Yup, I can't believe it's been that long since I've updated.

Oh trust me, there're reasons it hasn't happened. Trouble is, if I mention 'em, it'll sound as if I'm trying to make excuses.

Racky's been lighting a fire under me (thank God someone is!) and helped me in more ways than I can count, up to and including backing up my work!

Sadly, I never sent him the new Clarence and Cindy stuff, it got lost when the laptop's hard drive crashed and burned Sad

Thank GOD he had the Chapter 51 updates, minus the most recent. So that's being rebuilt as we speak.

Mind you, it's also nearing Thanksgiving season, and this is the Thanksgiving episode ... timing's everything Cool

One problem I do have with updates, my version of Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 doesn't work in XP with the ... uhm, plug-in, yeah, plug-in, that makes it work beyond 30 days Shhh

I do have an editor, I think it's called NVU, but if you look at the Eric Schwartz and Hunter Bahamut galleries in IE you'll see why it's a problem child, too Confused

Can't wait for the new chapters. I've been re-reading the old ones to pass the time. It's like being in limbo. Albiet an enjoyable limbo but limbo none-the-less.
