So it seems Anatol isn't just the caring friend to Sheila he's pretended to be eh? it appears that he has his own agenda where she's concerned, this would be a crushing blow should she find out. I had wondered why he had resisted his current assignment so much I'd thought he'd be anxious to prove himself fit again. As for Sheila I can’t wait to see what she tells Dr. Spivy and it seems that Kahnsman’s live in prostitute has an agenda of her own I think his downfall is coming around the bend. Good chapter Hikaru, can’t wait to read more.

Well act I took place before Sabrina left to live with Chris so this would be a year later .... I think they'd already be married in Act IV since a year had passed from the end of Act I to the start of Act IV.

Must have been damn good body armor I may have read it wrong but it seemed like the mayor was shooting from almost point blank most mob types would be loading cop killers at least in my neck of the woods anyway.

I remember reading about some body armor that was being developed around 2K that combined kevlar, balistic nylon, kenettic dispersal jells and sever layers of graphite interseprced. It would keep most cop-killer type bullets from going through, but was ruinously expensive.

One of the other side effects was that although it disperced the impact, it didn't block it, so at short range you'd get some pretty nasty bruises at best and cracked/broken ribs at worst.

I may not have made it obvious enough, but Anatol was uncomfortable during the car ride.... He didn't come out unscathed.

Good chapter as always, I would like to know more about this summoning that happened when Sheila and Arden went on their little trip. What exactly was summoned, how was it summoned? Was it even summoned and not just 'set free' by the powers of Lakesh opening the portal needed to transport the two on their way. So many questions...

Such as what will happen when mister Bullet Proof Priest catches up with Heckatae and finds out he intentions aren’t Evil, only her methods. And back home, with Kahnsman and that little area, not to mention the kits and Zig and that bunch.

Got me wanting more, hate to wait for the next chapter.
