Me and my Foxy recently aquired a new feline in our den Razz It showed up at her folks place, and they couldent keep her, so we took her :)

I have a picture of her here, with my foxy behind her, and we are wondering about a name for her. Hense the poll... What name do you think sounds the best, and best fits this little Feline here Very Happy

If ya select 'Other' put your other name in a post please, thanks for your help in advance :)

Alana: Peaceful Serene or an offering

Celina: godess of the moon

The others can not be found as being names... Oddly enough those two were my favorites before I looked all the names up. Hmm. Alana, the mean, rude girl from "Thats so Raven". Celina, a bit close to Celin Dion.
I'd vote either Alana or Adrina "Happiness" Italian

By the way, whats Div think if the new housemate?

I prefer Calici. Or Corona. I have a whole list of medical related names. What can I say? I'm a vet nerd.

Can't think of any names, so I'll peruse the vote choices.

Funny, you say Corona, I think of disembolwed furries...

Go with Asch. It has that ashy look to it. Also, Asch is so fun to say. I'd be like, "AAAAAAAAAAAASCH, DINNER TIME!" every night just for the fact that it'd be fun to say.

I think of the other hull of the sun... what? That's called corona too! Smile

Anyway, you know what happened to Divia when you named her after a goddess, Leo. You might not want to make that mistake again Wink

From the list I would probably go with Caylith, just because it looks interesting an nobody here in Germany would be able to pronounce it Wink

In any case, she is a pretty one. How are she and Divia getting along?

Well, so far it seems Kefira and Selina are tied in #1 for a potential name for her, I'll let this thread run on through tomorrow, but we need to have a name in cement for her by the time we go to RenFest on Sat... As for how she and Divia are getting along, they have had thier words... and the new cat is learning that she is -below- Divia in the pecking order. Other than that, Divia just pretty much ignores the new cat, sort of a 'dont mess with me, I wont mess with you' sorta pact she has. So, no more of the hissing and spitting at each other like when we first brought the little one home. Thanks for all your name ideas so far, but plz keep em comeing Smile

Just thrwoing a name out but ever consider the name Marie? It was the name of one of the cats I used to have. She liked scaling curtains for some reason.

You'd like my friends the Artrip family. The mother is Kristy Marie, she had 3 daughters and 1 son, the youngest daughter is Tiffany Marie, and just last week the oldest daughter gave birth to a girl Angelica Marie... As little Tiffany said to me last week while rolling her eyes; "ANOTHER Marie in the family" Its a nice name but Tiffy's getin tired of it. lol! Laughing

I like Caylith, for some reason. Maybe it's because it reminds me of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. Smile

I like Caylith myself, it just "feels" appropriate.

Oh, Shoobie, you sure wouldn't want to visit the Cateagle household then, we've four cats roaming here, three of them very avid hunters when given the opportunity - which we don't very much.

I picked other and your going to hate me, most of our pets we ever had either had very classy names or completely weird ones, E.g. Anna "Gracie" Lu, Sir Taters Totsalot; Laughing

Lythia, Ly [Li] or Lyth [Lith] for short [We do alot of nicknames and out pets come to them]
Sasha, Sashy for nick
Seiva, Se for short [Like you would say Ci in Cici or Si in spanish yes]
Reyna, Rey or ReyRey
Baba
Sylventhia, Sylvy for short
Reece
Tisie
Lara
Savanah, Sav or Savy for short
Selvie
Lauren, Laur or Laury for short

Okay thats all the names I got for now, Very Happy We own alot of animals, 3 cats, 10 dogs, and temporarily a cow and her calf until they are claimed, I used to have 11 dogs [neighbors killed one] a goldfish [neighbors killed her] and 5 more cats [they are wild cats we just feed them]
